I don't know why this was happening to me, but there was just something about Kate that drew me to her. She was beautiful, smart and just down right sexy. My problem was Kate... My Kate. I'd been in a relationship with Kate for two years now. She was a cheerleader, pretty and if I was being honest, kind of bitch. The challenge of making her my girlfriend was what drew me to her in the beginning and we were more like friends now that anything. I know she didn't feel the same way I did, I just didn't know how to break it off with her. She flirted with all my friends and I was pretty sure she was cheating on me. I was allowing it because I wanted her to break up with me. The second I got some real proof she was cheating, I was going to break it off with her.

After Ben and I left her house, I dropped him off at home and went to see my friends. I was on the soccer team and I have four friends that I hung out with every day.

Josh, Garret, Seth, Ryan and I had been friends since first grade. We all had a different style and personality. But unlike most of the other douche bags at our school, we were friends with everyone. We didn't have enemies or issues with people. It was easier to be nice than to be a jerk.
