You wake up with a start, and feel an aching pain throughout your entire body. Where am I? How- Your thoughts were interuppted by the rustling of leaves.

"Who's there?" you ask.

Silence.

"Please! All I'm asking for is a little help."

Maybe they're just shy?

You try to get up, but you fall back down due to a broken leg. Pain shoots through it, and tears threaten to fall down your face.

You hear a small creature scamper off into the darkness. Your vision blurs, as the tears slide down your (S/C) cheeks.

Your vision starts to get dark, darker, yet darker.

As you start to fall back into a deep slumber, you suddenly hear footsteps.

While they're echoing around you, you can't seem to find the source of the noise.

"Hello?" A feminine voice speaks up, and you gasp. "Has anybody fallen down?"

You yell, grateful to have safety within your grasp.

"I'm here! I'm over here!"

The footsteps become louder, and soon, you see a pale-furred goat woman.

You gasp and scramble backwards, trying to get away from the monster as quickly as possible, but to no avail, your leg stops you.

You didn't realize it before, but your broken leg was bleeding. The bone had torn through the flesh and muscle, was now exposed, and was bleeding profusely.

You look away from the gruesome sight expecting the monster to end your misery.

And the pain stops.

You open your eyes to see the woman's paw-like hand resting on the place your wound was at.

"I-it's-"

"Your leg is healed, my child, along with any other injuries you've sustained," She said.

"Do not fear me, for I will not bring you to any harm. I am Toriel, care-taker of the Ruins. Now child, if you do not mind me asking, what is your name?"

You hesitate. Should you lie, or tell the truth? You decide on the latter.

"M-my name is (Y-Y/N)... I came down here to look for someone. My sibling," You politely reply.

"Well, (Y/N), I assume you're talking about Frisk, are you not? They were the most recent human to-," you cut her off.

"Yes! You're right! If it's not too much of me to ask, can you please take me to them?" You knew it was rude to interrupt her, but you were way to eager to see Frisk again.

"Of course, child."

Toriel takes your hand, as the both of you walk through the doors to the Ruins.

A new beginning.

It might be hard to when school starts again, but I'll try to manage. I'm saying this now, I'll try to make every chapter as typo-free as possible, K? As always,
Bye-Bye, Gamerz!
