((Just so there is no confusion, Trev is Corey's brother and Trevor is their dad.))

I take a deep breath and look at Corey. He has his hand on my thigh and just stares at me. I cross my arms over my chest and squeeze my eyes shut to keep from crying.

"Do you believe me now?" He whispers, "I love you."
As he says that, tears fall from my eyes and he tuts, putting his arms around me.

"I-I'm s-sorry." I choke, hugging his waist. I hear him chuckle as he runs his fingers through my hair.

"Don't be baby." He hums. After a couple minutes of body-wrenching sobs, I begin to calm down. I lift my head and look at Corey. A smile forms on his face as he wipes away my tears. I sniffle a few times and feel better.

"We should get ready." He says and I nod, laughing. I stand up and dig through my suitcase, looking for something appropriate. I find a maroon sweater dress and decide that's good enough. I strip and feel Corey's eyes on me as I strap my bra.

"What?" I question and he shakes his head, pulling on a pair of dark jeans.

"You look good." He answers and I roll my eyes. I slip into the dress and look in the mirror.

"Can you see my bump?" I ask, smoothing my hand over my stomach.

"Actually yeah, it's getting really big." Corey answers, a huge grin on his face, "We did that."

"Yeah we did." I laugh, putting on some tan boots. I grab my makeup and sit down in front of the mirror. I do my makeup as fast as I can, keeping it glowy but "natural." Finally I put my hair in a donut bun on the top of my head. I huff and turn around, looking at Corey sitting on the bed. I stand up and walk across the room, sitting on his lap.

"I'm sorry that I yelled at you and got upset. We should've talked it out. I have a temper sometimes." I say and he nods

"I'm sorry that I let her come onto me. That was my fault so you had the right to be mad." Corey says. He grabs my left hand and holds it between us. He touches my promise ring and looks into my eyes, "You would not have this if I did not love you."

"I know Corey. I love you too." I answer and peck his lips gently. He grabs the back of my neck so I can't pull away and I smile as he continues to kiss me. My smile fades as his grip tightens and the mood changes. I kiss him back harshly, our tongues fighting. Honestly, we haven't had sex in a while because he's always busy and I always feel lousy. I tangle my fists in his shirt as he pulls my dress up over my butt. He pulls away from the kiss and looks into my eyes.

"Do you think we have time?" Corey questions as I lick a stripe up his neck.

"If we hurry I thi-" I'm cut off by the sound of the doorbell downstairs and the dog barking.

"Guess not." He mumbles and I chuckle because I can tell he's disappointed. I get off of him and pull my dress back down. I smooth his shirt as we hear someone calling his name. He takes my hand and we head downstairs. Corey's family is sat in this living room. Everyone there gasps when they see us and I get nervous. An older couple with gray hair stands and comes towards us, looking at Corey.

"Son how are you?" The man says, clapping his hand on Corey's shoulder

"I'm good, I'm good. This is Evelyn, my girlfriend." He answers and I smile.

"Hi it's nice to meet you!" I answer, hoping I sound sincere. The woman smiles at me and pulls me into a hug.

"You are so beautiful!" She whispers into my ear and I laugh.

"These are my grandparents. My mom's parents. Hazel and Gary." Corey explains and I nod, noticing how alike Hazel and Sylvia are.

We continue to greet the rest of Corey's family and everyone is incredibly nice. His other grandma is here along with a few aunts, uncles, and cousins. Some of his cousins are kids and I get along with them well, of course. Eventually we begin to eat, all gathering in the kitchen and dining room. There's constant chatter but most of the attention is on Corey and I and the babies. All of his family is so supportive and understanding. It breaks my heart that my family couldn't be the same way.

After we eat, most of Corey's family leaves. His grandparents and Sylvia's sister hang around for a while though. They seem to be who Corey is closest to out of everyone. As we're sitting around talking and playing a few card games, there's a knock on the door. Trev clears his throat and stands to get it.

"It must be for him." Gary says as we watch Trev run for the door. I laugh but stay focused on my hand of cards. I can hear Trev and it sounds like he's talking, or whispering even, to a girl.

"Corey!" Trev calls and I lift my head, looking at Corey. He shrugs at me and sets his cards down, going down the hall to the front door. All I can hear is whispering and finally I get upset. I excuse myself and go to the front door. I'm taken aback when I see a tall, brunette girl stood in the doorway of the house.

"Who's this?" I ask and Corey jumps. Him and Trev turn around and look at me, their mouths ajar. The girl peaks her head out from behind Corey and waves gently. I furrow my brows and just nod at her. I see she has her hand on Corey's chest and I ball my fists.

"Who are you and why are you touching him?" I ask, everything in me snapping.

"Oh! Hi, I'm Holly." She chirps and I close my eyes, blowing air through my nose.

"Trevor, could you?" Corey whispers and I open my eyes. Trev comes towards me and puts his hand on my arm. He stands in front of me and blocks my view of my boyfriend and his ex.

"Cmon." He whispers and pushes me backwards. I snort and allow him to push me down the hall. Eventually I turn around and walk back into the dining room, taking my seat.

"Who's at the door?" Sylvia asks and my face heats up.

"Holly." I answer in sarcastic tone, rolling my eyes. I pick up my cards and shuffle through them.

"Oh I love Holly!" Hazel answers and I gnaw on my lip, tasting blood.
