Meant to Be

Junior Year

Today was the first day of Junior year so Emma and Regina both woke up really early to get ready. They had already planned out what they were going to wear, but they wanted each other do to their hair, so after Emma eat breakfast she walked over to Regina's. 

"Good morning Mrs. Mills," Emma said walking inside their house.

"Hello Emma. Regina's awake in her room. Go on up."

"Thanks." Emma replied walking the the stairs.

When Emma walked in Regina was already dressed. She had chosen a longer white sweater and a dark gray infinity scarf, along with some light blue ripped skinny jeans. For shoes Regina had pick out a simple pair of black flats. 

"Oh, hey Emma!" Regina greeted.  

"Hi, can I change in you're bathroom before starting on your hair?" Emma asked.

"Yeah, just through there." Regina said pointing pointing to a door across the hall. 

While Emma changed, Regina did her makeup. She started with foundation and a little bit of bronze before put a light brown smokey eye with a hit of pink. Then she quickly finished with her mascara and eyeliner before Emma can out. 

"Wow, you look pretty," Emma said walking out of the bathroom.

"So do you!" Regina replied.

"Thanks," Emma smiled looking down at her outfit. 

She had chosen a light pink, almost peach, shirt with an off white scarf. For pants she was also wear light blue skinny jeans, but they weren't ripped. Emma didn't have any shoes that went with the outfit so Regina let her borrow of pair of cute light brown ankle boots.

"Okay, we need to get started on our hair and your makeup, because my mom wants to take picks of us all before we leave." Regina said.

"I'll do my makeup if you will start straightening my hair." Emma suggested.

As Regina worked on Emma's hair the blonde put on a tinny bit of peach eye shadow before doing her mascara. Once Regina was done straightening Emma's hair she parted it down the center and then pulled a section from each front side into a hair tie. "There you go Emma!" Regina said.

"Thanks," Emma said getting up and switching places with the blonde. 

Emma quickly curled Regina's hair before lightly brushing it to make it just a little wavy. She then parted the brunette's hair off the the right and did a water fall braid down the right.  

The girls then grabbed their bags and hurried downstairs to take pictures. Killian and Robin were already waiting outside, so the girls dropped there bags by the door and then ran over to them. They all stood next to each other with their arms around each others shoulders. They them took individual pictures and a few pictures with just two of them at a time.

After they finished they said good bye to their parents and walked off the school because it was only a couple of blocks from there homes. 

When school ended all of the students hurried out of class to grab their bags. Emma met Regina and Robin outside the front of the school so that they could all walk home together, but Killian never showed up.

"I'm gonna go find him." Emma said.

"Okay." Robin replied before turning back to Regina.

Emma walked back in the school, which was pretty much vacant by now. She walked down the main hallway to head to Killian's locker. As she got close to turning down the next hall she heard voices. "Killian?" She asked turning the corner, but what she saw next completely shocked her.
