Meant to Be

She's Back

Robin stormed into Regina's room to find her asleep. He quietly walked over to the bed before sitting on the edge. Her dark hair was sprawled out over the pillow. He watched her chest rise and fall as she sleep. She looked so peaceful. Robin started to lightly caress her cheek. He began to slowly lean in towards her. 

Robin stopped inches from her lips. Breathing in her sweet scent, he moved forward intertwining his lips with her's. As Robin slowly moved his lips Regina woke up. She was startled when she realized that someone was kissing her, but she slowly melted into it. 

When Robin felt her lips begin to move with his, he quickly pulled back. "Regina?" He asked.

"Robin!" Regina replied pulling him into an awkward hug do to her injuries.

"It's you! You're back, you're really back." Robin exclaimed overjoyed. 

"Yeah, it's me." Regina laughed.

"I'm so sorry that this happened to you." Robin said.

"It wasn't your fault." Regina replied. "And I'm sorry for punching you this morning."

"I'm just glad you're okay." Robin replied. "I don't know what I would have done without you!"

"I love you." Regina replied. 

"I love you too." Robin said before pulling her into a quick kiss. "I should probably go tell they others you're okay."

"Yeah, I'll be here." Regina laughed.

Robin hurried out of the room, back to his friends. When he got to them he said, "She's back! Regina's back. She remembers."

"She is?" Killian asked.

"Yeah." Robin said before pulling them towards her room. 

"Hey." Regina greeted as they walked in.

"Regina!" Emma yelled as she wheeled over to her friend.

"How did you get your memory back?" Killian asked.

"I don't really know." Regina sighed. "I was asleep and when I woke up Robin was kissing me, and I guess it just triggered my memory to come back."

"Wow, sounds like a fairy tale." Emma laughed. 

"True loves kiss." Killian teased. 

"I'm just glad your back," Robin started, "so I can do this."

Robin dropped down to one knee by the edge of Regina's bed. "Robin?" 

"Regina Mills, I was planning on doing this the night of our double date, but that didn't really work out." Robin laughed as he pulled the ring out. "I love you, and I want to spend the rest of my life with you. When you were in the coma, I was so afraid that I would never get to ask you this. Regina? Will you marry me?"
