I finished my stew with anticipation. I hadn't run into Merida yet, but I'm sure I would eventually. Rose told me that after dinner it was family time. Tonight's family time would be special though, because a flower child had awakened, and had yet to meet the family.

My stomach churned. Some how, family time would be worse than confronting Merida.

"See you guys later." I looked up from my food, startled.

"Where are you going?" I asked Rose, confused.

"Family time doesn't start till about 8 o'clock. In the meantime, everybody usually takes a shower and changes into their pajamas. That kind of stuff."

"Oh. Then I suppose I should go as well. What about you Luna?" Luna gave me a coy smile.

"I'll catch up with you guys later. I'm gonna go scope some things out." I gave her a weird look.

"Okay, see you later." Rose and I headed for the cafetorium exit. "What was that about?" I asked Rose. She shrugged her shoulders. "Oh come on! Not the slightest clue of what she meant by scoping things out?" Rose simply smiled.

"You don't really need to know what she meant, at least not yet." My brows scrunched up. Rose seemed to ponder this. "You've already have had little experience though... Hmm."

"What?" She smiled devilishly.

"Not telling."

"What in the world is she talking about?!"

I could feel Companion smiling.

You'll see.

"Ugh. The both of you are such pains."

"Who, me?" Rose pulled an innocent face. "Is your Companion not helping you out? Aw, poor wittle Iris."

"Tch."

"Well, this is where we part ways for now. My room is on the other side of the hall."

"Okay, see you at family time." I continued down the hall till I reached my room. I tried the doorknob, but then remembered last time. "Door, open." A click sounded in my ears.

Still no fancy password yet?

"Nope."

I rolled my eyes and entered the room. Back home I suppose. What did Rose say people did before family time? Shower and change clothes? Hmm. Merida never showed me where to shower... It's uh... Called a bathroom. But where is it?

I examined the room. There were two doors almost opposite to each other. One was by the dresser, the other by the bed. I tried the door by the dresser. No such luck. It seemed to be a tiny room filled with clothes...

A closet.

Yeah, a closet.

I made my way to the other door and opened it. It was dark inside. The light from the bedroom illuminated objects. My hand fumbled against the wall until I found the light switch. A sink and toilet was revealed to me along with a shower.

"Well, I found the shower. Now what?"

.....

"Companion?"

.....

"Hello?

Uh... Well... Close the door first.

"OK," I did as he directed. "What next?"

.... Take your clothes off.

"What?"

Take... Your clothes off...

I stood there, confused. Take my clothes off?

"Why?"

The point of a shower is to clean your body. You can't do that with clothes on. Iris... Just try to access your memory.

"Um... Okay..." I guess Companion wasn't going to be much help in this situation. And what did he mean by access my memory? I wish Merida was here to explain...

I let out a breath. Well, I better figure this out. Companion said to take off my clothes, so I suppose I do that first.

I pulled my tank top off and discarded it on the floor, then removed my jeans. Do I remove my underclothes as well?

"Companion, can you at least tell me if I have to take off my undergarments?"

.... Yes.... You have to.

"Okay,"

I slipped my underwear off and fumbled with the bra. How do I get this off?

Clasp. In back. Unhook it.

"Oh, now you're being helpful?"

....

I reached around my back and played with the clasp in the back till,it was finally unhooked. The bra dropped to the ground. I looked up and found myself staring back at me. A very naked self. I looked so... Weird. And these things hanging off my body. What are they called? Breasts. That's right. And only girls have them.

I slid the shower curtain open and stepped inside, sliding it back shut behind me.

Time to figure this out.
