I watched as Normani and her two friends walked towards us. "Hi , this is Camila and Ally" She introduced me to her friends. "This is Lauren " Lauren waved her hand. We began to walk around. "so...i'm thinking we can play some games and probably get on some rides...then eat and end the night by going on that ferris wheel" I explained to Normani ."some one likes being in charge" She teased. "Always am" I smirked.
"How much do you wanna bet I can make all of those rings around the bottle and Win a teddy bear for Ally?" Lauren whispered to me sounding confident. "this game is impossible , so sixty" We shook on it. Me and the other girls gathered behind Lauren "ONE" the man shouted. I shoved my hand in my pocket and sighed.
"Two....Three......four....FIVE! "do you want to keep playing" the man shouted , "you can win a bigger prize , but the catch is if you don't make it you get nothing." She looked at Ally and she smirked. "Yeah why not" I quietly gulped I didn't want to loose any more money.
Lauren got the first four down, everyone stood still even the man was in shock. She threw the last ring ..."TEN!" All the lights around the booth began flashing. Lauren pointed to a medium sized Teddy bear and gave it to Ally. It was half her size. Normani, Camilla, and Ally started to have a conversation.
"Pay up" Lauren held her hand out. "Tomorrow" . She rolled her eyes.
We got some pizza and began talking. "So Normani did you speak to Jacob yet" Camila asked. Me and Lauren listened to the conversation. "No...he never texted me back, he's probably doing his own thing this summer" ."I'm telling you all you have to do is leave" Normani took a sip of her water. "No" Normani said Nervously . "Normani! Camila!" Ally ran up to them. "Are you okay who mistakened you for a child again" Camila asked getting defensive.
Me and Lauren giggled.
"No I wanna go on the Ferris wheel" Ally pointed to it. "Have fun I'm not going" Normani shook her head. "Why not" I asked. "Do I look like I get on Ferris wheels" Normani looked around. I giggled. "Tonight you will"

We sat next to each other. "It's not as scary as it seems" I reassured her. I pulled out my phone.
-Lauren-How is everything going?
9:30pm
-Dinah- Fine so far ...akward silence 😁

"You can't just ignore me" Normani said. "Sorry" I mumbled. I put my phone back on my lap.
"You're really pretty" I blurted out and looked at her beautiful brown eyes that sparked. "Thanks, ...so are you" she smiled.
"You're doing pretty well for some who is afraid of heights"I tried to form a conversation.
"It's so beautiful look at all of the lights". Normani looked around."Yeah...when is this going to be over"She groaned. "When you look down and around you" I rocked us. "DINAH!."She moved closer ,grabbing my hand un concessionsly . "It's Okay" I reassured her. I Rubbed my thumb againt the top part of her hand. I felt chills run down my back.
I looked at her , we were face to face.
She let go of my hand and looked the other direction.
I noticed we were getting closer to the ground. I was actually excited I felt like I was gonna throw up, if this became any longer.
We got off and I noticed Camila hugging a clearly taller boy than her. I saw Lauren and Ally exchanging numbers. Lauren couldn't stop blushing , haven't seen her so...happy...It looks like everyone got who they wanted..Then there is me.
"Normani".I softly grabbed her wrist turning her to me. We stood in the middle of the parking lot. "I'm sorry..."I mumbled. "Why.." She asked confusingly. "I made things sorta akward" I explained. Normani sighed "it's fine ..I had an amazing time" She started to walk to her car. "Wait .." I held my hands open and the smaller girl turned around . I hugged her ..her hair smelled like coconut . I didn't wanna let go. "Good night Normani" I let go "Good night Dinah" she smiled.
I started walking over to Laurens
car but stopped when I noticed what was going on. Lauren and Ally were making out with .I never knew Lauren knew were to place her hands while kissing. I felt like a proud mom... Ally slowly pushed away and she mumbled something. Then started walking away. I quickly hid. When she was a good distance away. I entered the car.
