"What's on the agenda today" Lauren looked through my cabinet for snacks. "Zendaya is having a graduation party tonight, we have to go" I scrolled through Instagram. "Oh yeah, we can invite the girls" Lauren sat on the counter , and started to eat some Cheetos. "Should I text her what if she has plans, I don't wanna be clingy" . I looked at her. "You're not even in a relationship..."
-Dinah- Hey, you wanna go to a party tonight .

-Normani- srry. Camila and Ally are dragging me to one later. Maybe we can catch up next time

"She can't , going somewhere" I sighed. "What about Ally" Lauren asked eagerly. "They are taking her some where relax" . "It's not like we don't have other people to hang out with" I reassured her.
"What if they are there!" Lauren jumped off the counter. "One you know how my mom feels about that and the party is only for the graduating class they don't go to our school" I rolled my eyes. "Well...you have a point"
-later that night-
"Look who made it" Zendaya hugged me. Me and Zendaya were on and off , we never had anything serious. "Doesn't she always come" Lauren looked around. "Yeah for me" Zendaya bit her bottom lip. "Where is the rest of the volley ball team" Lauren asked. "They should be in the back yard" Zendaya pointed. "It looks like you invited the whole Senior class ,I was baffled by the amount of people. "Yeah , I mean we always kept in our circle ,we should get to know them" she explained. She had a point , we only hung out as a big group of girls and boys , the rest were complete outcast to us. "The only problem is, what's the point now" I laughed.
"I'm gonna go hang out in the back yard wanna come .." Zendaya asked. I shook my head no. I went into the calm quiet kitchen. And got something to drink.
I'm not sure how long I've been in here but the music started to get louder and drinks were starting to disappear. Meaning half of these kids would be drunk. I scrolled through my messages.
-Dinah -> Normani- I hope you're having a better night than I am😕.

She didn't respond , I assumed she was probably with that Jacob kid. That name seemed familiar.. I got out of my thoughts and looked around. I stood up from my seat and decided to go back into the living room. I bumped into a lightly shorter girl. I was shocked at who it was.
" I wasn't expecting this at all" Normani laughed. "Me neither, wow you look great" I admired her perfectly coordinated outfit. "Thanks so do you" I blushed at the comment. I backed up and let her enter the kitchen. We sat next to each other.
"So, you weren't going to tell me you lived in Florida and you attend the same school as me. I giggled. "I can say the same except living here , that should be obvious" Normani Said. "I'm just saying .. You're kinda too preppy".
"Preppy , you didn't even know my name until two days ago" she rolled her eyes. "They're gonna get stuck if you keep doing that, and what do you want to do when you get older" I asked . "Be a journalist or a public speaker" . "Exactly ..preppy who wants to be that right away" I teased her. " I've always loved writing and I'm good at debated and giving speeches" she defended her self. "A girl with ambition , where have you been on my life" I attempted to flirt. "Well if you think about it, same building , we probably had classes together, oh and we graduated together"she explained. Yep I never ventured out..
"Does Lauren know you guys are here" I asked. "I think so , Ally went to go find her , and Camila went with her boyfriend". "Oh you should probably go find yours" I mumbled.
"I don't think we are together anymore" Normani looked down. "..Look at me .." She looked up. "What happened". "It's complicated but I heard he was messing around with Justine, I should have been more invested in our relationship. I was just so busy" Normani explained. "Justine my Justine, Justine one the volley ball team".She nodded. "Wow..don't blame yourself he's stupid , he should be there no matter what you have to do. You're way to beautiful and intelligent for some one like him" I explained to her. "Thanks, especially with all the shit I've done for him" she half smiled. "How did you even get with some one on the basket ball team" I asked. "He needed a tutor.." Normani sighed .
"Do you want me to drop you home ? It's getting late" I asked. "I'm not a child you know" she smirked. I shrugged my shoulders and took a sip of my drink. "But yes ..please"
"Let me tell Them I'm leaving , wait for me in the front" . I went out back which also smelled like alcohol. "I'm leaving .." I told Lauren . "What why..You know Ally is here they like her" she slurred her words. "Please don't drink anymore , don't say anything stupid" . She gave me a thumbs up and sat back next to a tipsy Ally.
"Ready" I asked Normani. "Yep" The ride to her house was kinda quiet , their was some awkward tension between us. We got to know each other then everything just went dead . "So your parents are cool with you being Gay" she broke the silence. "Yeah..what about you ..well are you even into girls" I asked.
"I'm attracted to girls, but my father would never approve , he wants grandkids" She rolled her eyes. "It not like you can't get pregnant" I said. "Exactly ..and plus I don't want kids until I'm 26 or 30" Normani explained. "when ever your ready" I smirked. She looked at me then looked away.
We pulled up to her house. "So I was thinking, you should let me take you out to go eat or something .." I spoke. "Are you asking me or telling me" Normani looked confused. "I'm asking you ..don't be complicated" . I rubbed my head. "Don't lose your chance to go on a date with me" Normani replied. I sighed. "Would you like to go on a date .." I asked . "With who" She asked . "With me!!" I was shocked she asked that. "I'm just messing with you , I'll love too"
An- I had a feeling most of you would know what would happen.
