I put on my black dress that fits me perfectly. Jacob and his family was already down stairs , and I heard them all talking.
"Hi , Normani you look beautiful as always" Jacob complimented me while he pulled out a seat for me. I could feel my mom smiling across from me. "So Jacob I hope you're treating my princess right" My father said. I felt Jacobs hand on my thigh. "Of course, how can I ever hurt someone so precious" He gripped on my thigh tighter. I got a fork and jabbed his hand away.
After dinner me and Jacob went outside. "What the hell is wrong with you" I asked. "You're the one stabbing people with forks" He yells back. "I don't want this" I pointed to him. "Me neither Normani, but investments matter okay" he stated. " I don't-" "Open relationship?" He interrupted me. "..what" I asked. "You do what ever you want with any body but when we are with are parents its us" he explained. "I'm already in a relationship" I crossed my arms, his eyes widened. "With who!" "Don't worry about it.."
I ran up to my room and called Dinah. I explained everything to her, she didn't really like the idea of it but she was up for the challenge.
The Next Day
-Dinah's Pov-
"We should go to the beach today" I laid next to Lauren. "That's like a three hour drive, try again" "exactly we would spend the whole day out" I clapped. "Fine I'll go invite some people" Lauren got up and took out her phone. I texted Normani.
Dinah----> Normani- Wanna go to the beach?
10:10pm
Normani- 😬I just got my hair done
Dinah- you'll be fine , I'll see you in ten minutes
"Alright, so the volley ball and basketball team are coming" Lauren told me. I was shocked. "What time are we leaving then?" I asked, kinda annoyed now. "Eleven,Ally needs to get ready". I smirked
"I think Jacob is going also" I mumbled, Normani looked at me confused. "Is this like a get together now" Normani said. "Kinda, but don't worry about it I'll only be focused on you, plus ally is going to be there"
We went to go pick up Ally and Lauren.
*later that day*
The volley ball team was actually nice to Normani especially zendaya. I got up from my seat to get something to drink from the cooler.
"Normani looks so hot right now" Jacob said to me, it caught me off guard. "Yeah I know" I laughed awkwardly. "That's all mine" his eyes led to her body. Mine. "Sure it is" I mumbled. He looked at me for a little then walked away.
"Jacob is up to something" I said to Lauren. "I doubt it.. Don't over think" Lauren readjusted her sunglasses. I looked over and noticed Jacob pick up Normani like she was some princess or something. Don't get me wrong she is but not is. I started to stand up until I felt an extra weight sit my body back down.
"Hey Dinah , you've hardly spoken to me all day" Zendaya wrapped her arms around my neck. "Not the time or the place" I groaned. Unexpectedly her lips crashed into mine, she parted and got up and ran back to the water.
Normani stood in front of me wrapped in her towel. She quickly walked away, Lauren looked at me with a disappointed look. I ran after Normani. She stood by my car patiently waiting.
"Take me home Dinah" Normani demanded. "Sit in the back though ...you're wet" I said nervously. Normani rolled her eyes and did as told , I followed behind her closing and locking the door behind us. "Dinah..please" Normani put her hair in a bun. "No , what you just saw ,Just now it was all her" I held her hand. "How can I be so sure" Normani looked down at our hands intertwined. "Because I'm sitting here trying to make things right" I sighed.
"Nope" I heard her whisper. "Why are you making this so difficult Normani" I lifted up her chin. "Because Dinah... I think I'm.." she shook her head. "What..what's wrong" I said. "I think I'm in love with you.. already...I'm willing to tell everyone you're mine despite what my parents say" She looked me in my eyes. "Say something" she mumbled.
I held her waist and leaned in until our lips connected. I could taste her strawberry chapstick , and I could feel are kiss getting more deeper . I wrapped both of my arms around her waist and pulled her closer to me. Normani was now on top of me. "Does that say enough" I whispered.
Normani's head rested on my chest and I felt heart beat become in sync with mine.
