Luke and I got up and walked back to the pavilion. It wasn't as full yet because dinner had just started. Luke sat down at the Artemis table and looked at me as I slowly sat down, "You're not going to sit at the Apollo table?" I shrugged and looked at the abandoned table, "They're great, but I'm fine right here." He smiled a bit. The smile didn't last long though, "Luke, you okay?" He looked up at me with a small 'hm?' and shook his head, "Yeah. I'm okay. I just... Why would I join Kronos Army? I don't get it." I shrugged, neither did I when I first found out. "From what I listened too, it was because they threatened to hurt the ones you love." He nodded, I knew he wanted more answers but I didn't necessarily have them. I try changing the conversation a bit, "So, you ready to go apartment hunting tomorrow?" He rolls his eyes, "oh yes. I'm clearly ecstatic." I laugh a bit. It shouldn't be too hard, Nico even offered for us to sleep in his living room for a couple of days if we couldn't find one right away. "It'll be great. Trust me." He nods, "We'll see." Luke looks as campers begin to pile into the pavilion. He watches as people sit down behind me. "Do you have the song down?" I sigh and look at the sheet, it must've been the Apollo cabin sitting down. "It's simple enough."

He chuckles, "We'll see if you mess up later tonight." I roll my eyes, "You have no faith in me." "This is the same person who could've got us caught the first day we were here over a locked window!" I huff, "It worked!" He burst out in a fit of laughter, "Barely!" I join in on Luke's laughter. Yes my plan the first day we were here had barely worked, but we still made it out unseen. "So you don't think I can get this down?" He shrugs, "Certainly would surprise me but I'm sure you'd probably be able to pull it off." I glance over to the sheet and start humming, smiling as Luke raises an eyebrow. "Showing off are we?" I laugh a bit. I can definitely do this tonight, but then why do I feel so nervous? My smile drops. "You okay?" I nod, apparently that wasn't convincing enough, "Nervous?" I swallow down the lump in my throat, "Just a bit." Luke smiles sympathetically and grabs my hand, looks me in the eye and tells me it's all going to be okay. Luke grabbed my hand probably to show that
he's there for me, it had worked in calming me down but also made me a bit more nervous.

I smiled to Luke and thank him for trying to calm me down. He smiles back, "of course." We sit and talk for a few more minutes when I notice the black haired child of death staring at us. I told Luke I'd be right back as I stood up and made my way over to his table. I sat down in front of him. He raised an eyebrow at me, probably expecting something. I roll my eyes and fluttered my eyelashes to appear clueless. "What was that?" I raise an eyebrow, "what was what?" He grabs my hand just like Luke had and looks me in the eye trying to mimic what had just happened at the Artemis table. "This (Y/N). This." I laugh a bit at his attempt to recreate what Luke had just done, but it also made me blush. "He was just trying to calm me down. I'm nervous about tonight and the campfire." Nico rolls his eyes, "I'm suddenly wondering if giving you two your own apartment is a good idea." My blush deepens, "it's not like that." He shakes his head, "say what ever you need to sleep at night."

I walk back over to Luke, still flustered over Nico. "You okay?" He asks probably noticing my red face. I plop down on the seat and lay my head down in my arms. Someones arm brushed against mine. I slightly lift my head to still see Luke sitting across from me, I groan knowing it's Nico next to me. "Go away." I say carrying out the last syllable. He laughs at my internal  suffering. "I hate you." Nico sighs, trying to calm himself from laughing, "No, you love me." I sit up a bit and roll my eyes not disagreeing. I start to laugh a bit and look up at Luke who seemed to have forced a laugh. I'll ask later, I'm pretty sure Nico being here would make him uncomfortable. We sat joking around a bit, I had noticed Luke's mood seemed to lighten up also. Nico eventually left to go gather up his stuff for tomorrow morning. "Hey Luke, you okay?" He nods. "Are you sure?" I slightly raise my eyebrow. "(Y/N), I'm fine." He looks up to me and gives me a genuine smile. Being friends with him so long, I could tell the difference with no struggle.
