I wake up to the smell of pancakes and the other side of the bed is empty. I walk into the kitchen and see Tracie cooking with nothing but my big shirt on and her underwear. I walk up behind her and wrap my arms around her. "Good morning sleepy head I remembered how you loved my pancakes".
"Mmmm still do" I say not even knowing what they taste like.
"Saturday mornings with you were always my favorite" she says.
"Enough chit chat, give me those" she punches me then hands me a plate with three pancakes and a lot of bacon.
"Babe you better finish that too punk"
"Tracie don't get dealt with in that kitchen"
She playfully bucks her chest at me and does that cute ass laugh. I know, I shouldn't have gotten away with what I did yesterday. Furthermore I don't deserve what I have with Tracie, but the girl is....words haven't been invented. I think about her 24/7. Every time I look at her I feel every beat of her warm heart even if we're not even touching. This vibe might weaken me but I don't care. I'd rather be vulnerable with her than closed off and lonely."So what do you want to do today?"
"Damn Tracie I need a baby sitter now?" I say jokingly
"No but you're about to need an ice pack" she holds a pan up like she's about to hit me.
"Ohh getting brave are we? How about a picni-"
I get a text that shocks the hell out of me.
From: Unknown Number
You don't think you got rid of me do you?I reply with: Damn it Troy if you fuck this up. Stay away from Tracie.
Troy:Relax I just want to have some fun:) plus I like to see you squirm in uncomfortableness
I leave him on read."Babe, is everything okay?"
"Huh? Oh yeah I just got a text from one of the guys that's all"
"Oh. Well what were you saying before"
"Hmm I don't remember"
"How about a movie night? You know, stay in, cuddle with popcorn"
"Sounds fun but I thought you were gonna say a picnic"
"Well isn't it going to rain?"
"Jay, what are you not telling me"
