*This'll come as a huge shock... UNEDITED*

We arrived at the bowling club, making our way through the arcade section to get to the shoes. We grabbed out our sizes putting on the worn out white shoes and made our way to the lanes.

"Jordie and Dixie are already here. Down the very end, lane one." My gaze followed the way Sebastian was pointing.

I spotted them, nodding. "Let's go then." As we walked over I half expected to be walking into a private moment given what Abigail had told me but they were both sitting their on their phones silently.

"You two couldn't be more anti-social." Sebastian informed them blandly.

Dixie responded with a very offended look. "Nuh uh! I'm texting. That's social."

Sebastian rolled his eyes, "Alright, you win this round."

"The party hasn't even started and it already looks dead." A voice called out behind us. We spun to face Abigail (the owner of said voice), Emily and Nate.

"Only cause you killed it." Dixie replied almost instantly. Abigail slithered into the seat beside, her red hair tied into a loose fishtail braid.

"Now we both know that isn't possible."

A phone chimed and Nate pulled out his, apparently the receiver of the message. "Zach just said he can't make it. He's working late at the bakery." He sighed putting his phone away.

"Guess we gotta go then." I was thoroughly confused; doesn't bowling only need one person? Not eight? Everyone nodded and went over to get their shoes on. I wordlessly followed, not daring to ask why we suddenly couldn't go bowling.

"See you soon then." Sebastian said to everyone, "Let's go Ken." I walked back along with him, not quite knowing what to say.

As we got into the car Sebastian broke his silence. "We don't play unless we're all their. Every single one of us has been to every single game since we became friends. It's a little rule of ours. That and it's practically forbidden to go bowling on a night other than Wednesday."

I nodded, falling back into silence. Sebastian took a turn, going somewhere other than my house. "Uh, I think you took a wrong turn my house is the other way."

"I know. We're going to visit Zach at work. The bakery isn't that popular so their won't be many customers. He'll be bored out of his mind and we'll be th ones to fix that." Sebastian told me, taking a quick look at me before setting his eyes back on the road.

"That's actually really cool that you guys do that for your friends." I acknowledge.

"Yeah, well, I'm a pretty cool guy." He smirked.

"Yeah, you wish." I scoffed, rolling my eyes and yet I couldn't help the smile that crossed my face.

After ten short minutes we pulled up outside the bakery. Just enough time to see Abigail, Emily and Nate get out of the car. "Where are Jordie and Dixie?"

"Probably already inside, Dixie drives like a crazy women." Sebastian informed me, putting his hand on my back to gently guide me inside. Like I can't see the door myself.

"Hi, welcome to-" Zach stopped short, straightening up from talking to Jordie and Dixie. "Oh, well then. I guess I owe ten bucks Di, he did show up."

"What's that supposed to mean?" Seb exclaimed, horribly offended.

"Just thought that you'd be off with your girlfriend. Y'know, that's what everyone does when they get someone." At that he wiggled his eyebrows.

"We aren't-" My protect was cut short, clearly Zach wasn't done rambling.

"It's not like I'm holding it against you. I did it when I first met Zoe; Emily did it when she first got together with Noah so I thought you'd do the same."

"We aren't-"

"Besides, you haven't dated a girl seriously in like forever." At this Sebastian's face reddened a little. "So it's not like-"

"Okay, let me stop you right there." Sebastian said, silencing Zach with a hand gesture. Finally, someone had to do it. "First of all; I'm never going to be like that. Second of all; Ken and I aren't dating."

"You're not?"

"Nope, we're just friends."

"Well, I just thought that with how much you talk about-" Zach's speech was cut short with a jab to the side. He turned to look at the culprit. "What was that for?" He exclaimed, muttering something about manners.

Dixie just responded with a sharp glare. Glad I'm not on the receiving end of that one.

"Hey everybody!" A shout came from the door as the bell rung. I'm not suprised to see Abigail with her hands in the air and a triumphant smile. "I just learned how to change a tire! No need for applause but if you would like an autograph please be sure to bring your own pen." She stressed with a pointed look at Zach.

"Why are you accusing me? I'm literally the only person in here with a pen!" He motioned to his ear where a blue pen rested.

"You say that now but I'm willing to bet that pen's out of ink." Abigail stated, sliding into a booth at the front of the bakery. "Now, get me a blueberry muffin. Stat!"

Zach grumbled something incoherent under his breath and dragged himself into the kitchen. "Make that two!" I called back, receiving a groan form Zach. "Oh, and I'd love if you could get me a bottle of water."

"I second that!" Abigail yelled, a bubbly smile on her face.

"Sebastian, next time I'd rather you didn't bring your girlfriend if she's just gonna team up with Abby." I snickered at that.

Seb yelled back, " She's not my girlfriend." At the same time Abigail growled out, "My name's Abigail, not Abby."

"Yes, ma'am." Was all the response she got.

I made my way over to Abigail, sliding in on the oposite side of the booth. "I think we should team up more often." She told me as slumped down in the seat.

Zach came up to us with a bottle of water in both hands. "Thank you Zachary." Abigail said sweetly. He grumbled something under his breath, something about his name being Zach not Zachary.

I popped open the lid and took a drink. "I'm glad Sebastian introduced you to us. You're a pretty cool friend."

I choked on my drink, coughing to stop the burn. Once I calmed down I awkwardly replied; "Uh... Thanks? You too?"

She just shrugged and took a sip of her own water. "No problem."

I'm sorry I haven't updated in a very long time and that when I finally do update it's a short chapter...

BUT!

I did say updates would be slow and also; it's really heavy to write and I don't want to mess it up. Even though you wouldn't really know that I'm messing it up because I'm the author... Anyway, I've been going through and changing a few things within the story because they weren't accurate.

If you know anything about me it's that I like my books to be accurate. Call it my OCD. But, I quite often have to go back to chapters to see the different attributes that I gave certain people so that I don't mess it up. Honestly its entirely frustrating but I can't help it.

I've also been pretty engrossed in writing this other book because:

1. I refuse to publish it until its finished so that I can give constant updates

2. It's basically a new world I've created so I'm having fun exploring that

3. The plot isn't something I've seen before this way.

As much as it pains me to admit, this book doesn't exactly have an original plot and because some of the content is so heavy I'm struggling to write it. I promise I will it's just a struggle. I refuse to quit on this book! I actually wrote the biggest chunk of this chapter on Christmas and I'm currently doing it while I'm on vacation so... Don't kill me?

Let me know what you think of the chapter, it'll be much appreciated and will make my day. Be sure to leave a COMMENT and VOTE. Pretty please with a cherry on top?
