Edward offered to walk me home, so I let him.
On our way, we talked, shared jokes, etc. Finally, we reached my house.

"Thanks for walking me home." I say.

"No problem." He replies.

I give him a small smile and he gives me a small wave and he walks away.

I walked towards my door when I remembered. I had left my keys in my room again.

God damnit, Katie!

I sigh and close my eyes, knowing that I'd have to face my brother and his jerk friends. But what if they had left already? Only one way to find out.

I ring the doorbell and wait a few seconds. I soon hear footsteps coming towards the door. I hear the doorknob turning.

"You're back." My dear brother says.

I roll my eyes and say, "Obviously."

I walk away from him and see his friends are still here. Great. I was about to go up the stairs and into my bedroom, when Danny stopped me.

"Where were you?" He asked.

I roll my eyes again.

"I told you before I left." I said with an attitude.

"Well I forgot. So tell me where you went again." He said with crossed arms.

"Why would you care? It doesn't affect you." I say.

"God damnit, Katie! Just tell me where you went!" Danny yelled with no patience.

"I went to Edward's house! For god's sake!" I exclaim, frustrated with him.

"If you would've just said that in the first place, we wouldn't be yelling at each other right now!" He says with frustration.

"Why do you want to know so bad?! It's not like I went to a murder house and murdered somebody."

"Because either way you're my sister!" He yells.

I just sigh wanting to drop this whole mess. I turn away from him and head up the stairs. I unlock my bedroom door and sit down on my bed. I just want to forget that whole conversation I just had with Danny.
