Reckless Bad Boy

I get up to my room and lay down. I close my eyes and try to relax. My conversation with Danny repeating in my head. I rub my temple and clear my mind of the conversation. I laid down with the intention of relaxing but all it did was give me a headache. I sigh and reach for my phone. I didn't even realize I had pressed on Edward's name and texted him until I had pressed the sent button and looked at the contact name. Great. I just saw him not even 10 minutes ago and I'm already texting him. He's probably thinking how pathetic I am and desperate to keep a friend that I would text the first person I hang out with just about three minutes after I last saw them.

Before I had any more time to regret what I just did my phone vibrated in my hand.

It was from Edward.

Miss me already? ;) // Edward

I smile and shake my head at Edward's text.

Ha ha. you wish. :) // Katie

Well why else would you be texting me then?? // Edward

I don't even know. I get my phone and without even knowing it, I texted you. // Katie

Is there a ghost in your house? Are you possessed? Do you need me to get an exorcist? 👻 // Edward

🙄 Do you need need a doctor because you're delusional if you think I actually miss you. // Katie

I smile as I turn my phone off. It's weird how I already feel so comfortable around him, considering the fact that we just met. I sigh and close my eyes as I hear Danny's friends laugh downstairs. I was still angry with him but I didn't want to see him right now. No matter how thirsty I am for a glass of water. I sit up from my bed and decide to watch some Harry Potter to calm me down. An  hour passed and I feel my phone vibrate. I look at the text message that said heey, which was from Edward. I immediately get excited and happy inside. I quickly type a hi back.  It doesn't take him long to text back, asking me what I'm doing. I text back, telling him I'm simply watching Harry Potter, because that's exactly what I'm doing. He must be a quick typer because he immediately asks me which movie. I tel him that I'm watching the third one, the one with no Voldemort. We go back and fourth texting just about Harry Potter.

Why the third movie? // Edward

Because it's my favorite, why? // Katie

Because the 5th movie is obviously better duh // Edward

But that's when Sirius died :( // Katie

But it great nonetheless // Edward

Sure it is // Katie

I  know it is // Edward

How rude. // Edward

Didn't your parents ever tell you rolling your eyes at your elders were rude? // Edward

Yes, they did, but since when were you an elder?? // Katie
