Five: I'll carry him.

I shuddered at the ominous aura surrounding him. I looked back seeing his eyes that glow a golden yellow showed no emotion. His face was calm. It looked more human if you ignore his parted mouth that showed his fangs.

"Fine. What do you want?" He said in a rather playful tone. I was still hanging on Bonnie's shoulder. Now that I think of it. It seems like I'm as weightless as a pillow to her.

"Oh? Cooperating now, aren't we?" I could imagine her smile provocatively. "As always, I want you to take the position. The tribe needs you." Her voice was unexpectedly sincere. "And you do know he's safer with the tribe." I didn't trust her tone.

There was silence until his eyes met mine and I caught a glimpse of his still glowing.

"No." He said as I barely saw him move a foot that made the floor crack as Bonnie's grip was gone and another has grabbed my waist. I watched Bonnie go through the beds and hit through the wall making rubble and dust fall from the air.

"What the fuck, Blake?! Vlad will kill you!" I turned to see Amelia's panicked face. I realized I was already standing on the floor with Blake's arm around my waist. He was a foot taller than me, I noticed not until my back stung. When my back slid on his chest some of the bandages must have peeled off and grazed my wound.

"BLAAAAKE!" We all turned to the direction of the rubble. "YOU'RE SO FUCKING DEAD!" Bonnie yelled.

"Yeah. Like you said a few days ago." Blake provoked.

"Oh, dear." Henry groaned in despair. "I'll stop her. Amelia, fix Heath's back." He hands Amelia a first aid kit as he sighed and stared far at Bonnie's direction as Amelia stared at him with incredulity.

"Are you serious?" She scowled at him in disbelief.

"It'll take quite longer to calm her down." He said locking his knuckles as he stood his guard.

Amelia sighed. "Fine. Just don't mess up the place." Henry turned and nodded at her. "C'mon guys. It won't take long for her to get back on her feet." Amelia said as she grabbed my arm. I prepared myself for the pull from her but I didn't budge. "Blake!" Amelia called again. "Let's go!" Blake finally heard her when he shook his head and turned to her.

"Huh? Oh. Right. C'mon." He then let go of me and let Amelia drag me. I hear him following behind us as we went out of the door.

When we were out the building we heard more crashing sounds. "Will he be okay?" I asked Amelia.

"Yeah, it's his job to keep her down anyway."

"Job? What do you mean?" We continued to walk down a brick pavement that led to the forest. "Wait. Where are we going?" I asked as I stopped before we thoroughly were surrounded by trees. Something might attack us again.

"It's safe." I flinched when his hand touched my back. I turned to him apologetically but it didn't seem like it to him when his brows furrowed in rejection.

"Thanks." I muttered as I avoided his eyes. I've just met this guy and he's done things that I could misunderstand. He's also a werewolf. I could imagine Amelia correcting me with lycan. I should be wary of him but seeing him up close with his dark locks and eyes that shone like gold made him annoyingly enchanting.

"You're bleeding." I turned to him as I reached for my back, gently touching my wound. Ugh... blood. "Amelia. The kit." Amelia handed him the kit as the items in the box shift as he placed it down. "Sit. We're cleaning your wound." I turned to him.
