Two periods passed and it was already lunch. Surprisingly, when I got out of the classroom, Chis was there.
"Hey." I said, smiling widely for no reason. I kind of also thought it was funny to find Chris waiting for me.
"Hey. Let's eat. I'm starving." He grumbles as he rubs his stomach. We arrived at the cafeteria and were surprised to see Evelyn beaming at us. Her cheeks were red as if she was blushing.
"Hey guys!" She chirped as the three of us headed towards the food trays.
"Hey, how's Mark?" Chris asked and Evelyn gave him a wide grin, and slowly, Chris returned the same smile.
"That must mean he's alright now. Right?" I interrupted as I felt out of place from their smile-talk. Evelyn just nodded and we lined up to finally get food.
I smiled widely at the food on my tray. Today's special is a Korean meal. And I'd lie if I said I didn't love it – "Woah!" I yelped as thick limbs surrounded my waist and a heavy chin placed on top of my head. The head slipped down to my shoulder and I immediately turned mine just to catch golden eyes smiling into mine.
"Blake?! What the hell are you doing?!" I said in an irritated tone as I held the tray properly to not let the dishes on it fall. He just stared at me as I glared at him. "Blake – " My eyes grew wide when he suddenly pecked my lips and slip off of me. I could only stare at him as I felt my cheeks become warm.
"You never told us you were taken." Came in Evelyn's voice as I stared at his retreating back
"'Cause I'm not."
