XXII.|breathe again

Since Tia was riding with Pistol today, I got breakfast at McDonald's before I got to school.

I got me a mcgriddle with orange juice and I got Tee the same thing since I was in such a good mood.

I pulled into the school parking lot and parked in my normal spot, next to Pistol.

"Wassup Jay." He said as I got my bag out of the car .
"Hey Terrance." I laughed and gave him a hug.

"Heyy Bestfriend." Tia sung hopping out of the car.
"Hey baby." I said kissing her cheek.

"Here I got you something." I said passing her the McDonald's bag.

"Oh shit. Your drink still in the car." I said pointing at the window.
"Give me the keys , I'll get it." She said reaching for my keys.

"Somebody's in a good mood today." Pistol laughed.

"Both of y'all are." He laughed again.
"I know why Tia in a good mood but wassup with you Jay." He laughed.

"Yeah Jay. I saw you this morning." Tia laughed.

We started to walk towards the building and Tia grabbed my hand.
"I'll tell you what happened once we sit down." I said as we sat down in the courtyard.

"Soooo give us the Tea." Tia said kicking her feet.

"We've been together everyday since Wednesday and we've been having a good time." I smiled

"What happened last night?" Tia asked.

"He spent the night and we uh." She laughed.

"You fucked him?" Tia gasped.

Jade nervously bit her lip and nodded her head.

"Bitchhh how was it?" Tia asked and Pistol gave her look.

"Time for me to go." He said getting up from the table to meet Quincy.

"It was great actually. We both fell asleep afterwards." I laughed.

"That was us last night." She laughed.

"Tee you might as well say that's your boyfriend now. I mean he's the only dude that you've fucked consistently for months. You spend the night with him and you ain't fucking nobody else. I know you. You like him." She said poking Tia in the side.

"Ugh, you know I don't do boyfriends. I do like him though and I've been calling him baby."she laughed.

"Aw bestie I'm proud of you. You not a hoe anymore." I laughed.

"Fuck you Jay." She laughed.

The bell rung and the two of them started to walk to class.

"You ready for prom this weekend?" Tia asked.

"Yeah." I laughed.

"Me and Terrance are gonna get a room afterwards. You and your date should join us." She laughed.

"Darryl is my date. I'll let him know." I said.

"Girl you know that's gone make Quincy sick. He so mad that you off him." She laughed.

"Who cares? I want nothing to do with him. I don't even want to be his friend." I rolled my eyes.

"I'm happy that you're not fucked up about it. You've moved on and you're happy. That makes me happy." She said as they walked in class and took their seats.

"Terrance can I use your car phone?" I asked.

"Ima start charging y'all asses. I ain't AT&T." Pistol laughed leaning on his car.
