Bailey's Point of View

I slam the door and run into my room. Why is everyone overreacting so much? I sigh when the doorbell rings.

"What do you want Asher?" I say, slightly irritated.

"Is Mel here?" He asks. I roll my eyes.

"If you're just looking to get with her than you can leave. She's already got a guy friend."

"What do you mean? And I wanted to apologize. Look, can I come in?" He asks.

Hesitantly, I nod my head and open the front door further.

"Hi Asher! What a nice surprise. Are you hungry?" My grandmother coes.

"Grandma, he's fine. We'll just be in my room." I say pushing Asher into my room.

"Mel doesn't wanna talk to you. And currently not just you, all of us." I say matter of factly.

"What happened."

I spill out the story to him.

"We have to find them. And we have to find them now." He says getting up.

"What? What's the rush."

"Bailey they know the long route their parents take. Montgomery Hill. The worst city in the state of Texas. Bailey we have to find them. Before something happens to them.."
