"I'm gonna miss you so much," I cooed as I craddled Delilah. it's the day after the wedding and me and Jack are getting ready for our flight tomorrow. We're leaving for 3 weeks, Jack's birthday is also in 2 weeks so we get to celebrate in Hawaii! I'm super excited!
"All done," Jack said placing our packed bags into the corner for tomorrow.
"I can't wait until we get there, I heard you can legally drink there at 18," I said. "Are you sure we can't just bring her with us," I pouted.
"Yes I'm sure. And after you just telling me we can drink there I don't think we should bring her," he said. I sighed and kissed Delilah on the forehead.
"Mommy's gonna miss you so much baby girl," I said.
"Bed time," Jack said.
"Can she sleep with us tonight?" I asked with puppy dog eyes. He nodded.
"Of course she can," he said. I grinned. I walked over and laid on the bed. Jack laid with us and we put Delilah in the middle so she wouldn't fall.
"Good night," I said. I kissed Delilah on the forehead and pecked Jack on the lips.
"Good night," he responded. I closed my eyes and began to drift off the sleep.
-
The alarm went off and I hit snooze. The clock read '4:30AM'. I slowly climbed out of bed while Jack rubbed his eyes. I changed into some joggers and a jumper. I yawned and picked up Delilah. I pulled the shirt down a little and ler her latch on. She ate quickly. I burped her and there luckily wasn't any spit up.
"I'll call my parents and tell them we're dropping her off," I told Jack. He nodded with a yawn and grabbed my phone. I typed in the passsord, 0809. It was our wedding day. Before it was our anniversary and than the day he proposed. I dialed the number and waited while it rang.
"Hello?" A very tired mum said.
"Me and Jack are gonna drop of Delilah in a few, ok?" I asked.
"Ok," he said and hung up. I put my phone in my pocket and grabbed one of the bags. Jack carried two bags. We walked out of the house and I locked the door behind us. We walked to the car and put the bags in the trunk of the car. I buckled Delilah in as Jack grabbed the rest of the bags. What a sweet heart. I sat in the passenger seat and Jack began driving towards my parents house.
-
I woke up whem the car stopped. I got out of the car and got Delilah out. I grabbed her bag and carried her to the door. Me and Jack just walked inside. I closed the door behind me and walked upstairs into my larents room (A/N it was a spelling mistake but it's larry and parents together so I left it).
"Morning," I yawned.
"Morning," mum replied. I handed him the bag and he took out her portable cot. I cuddled her close to my chest with a sigh. I swayed slightly.
"I'm gonna miss you," I said. Tears began running down ny face as I cuddled her. Jack came over and cuddled her with me. I sniffled.
"We're gonna miss you baby girl," Jack said with a sniffle. I handed her to dad hesitantly.
"She's gonna be fine," he assured us. We nodded and I kissed her one last time on the forehead.
"We love you Delilah," I said.
"Go enjoy your honey moon," mum said. I kissed them both on the cheek before we began walking away. "Bye!" Mum called.
"Bye!" We called back. We left the house and got into the car. Tears streamed down my face as we drove away. I fell asleep soon after.
-
"Wake up," Jack said shaking me lightly. I groaned and opened my eyes. I got up and out of the car. I grabbed my bags from the back and Jack grabbed his. We walked into the airport and went through security and such. We sat down and waited for our plane to be called.
"I miss her," I sighed.
"Me too," he said. We waited a fews more minutes. "Want something to eat?" He asked.
"No, some tea would be nice though," I said. He nodded and stood up.
"I'll be back," he said.
"Ok," I said pecking him on the lips he walked towards a coffee shop.
He came back five minutes later with two cups. He handed me one.
"Thank you," I said. He hummed in response and began drinking his tea. I took small sips.
"Flight 486 to Hawaii please make your way to gate 3," a woman said on the speakers.
"Hawaii here we come," I said. We picked up our bags and began walking towards gate 3. We got into the short line and waited.
"Tickes please," the man asked. Jack handed him our tickets and he scanned them. He handed them back and we thanked him. we walked onto the plane and put our carry ons into the cubbies.
"Here we go," Jack said. I grabbed his hand. The plane began moving and I drifted off to sleep.
-
"Welcome to Hawaii!" A voicd cheered over the speakers waking me up. I stood and streched. We grabbed our bags and got off the plane. We grabbed our other bags off the belt thingy (I don't know what it's called) and began walking towards the exit. A man with red hair was holding a sign the read 'The Johnson's'. I smiled and pulled Jack over.
"Welcome to Hawaii, where dreams come true. I'm Ed andI'll.be your tour guide," he said.
-
After the tour Ed brought us back to our hotel and we unpacked our bag. I laid down on the comfortable bed with a content sigh.
"We should skype my parents," I said. He got his laptop from one of the bags and opened up skype. He clicked on my parents and waited while it rang.
"Hi!" Mum chirped. "How's Hawaii?" He asked with a huge grin.
"It's great but we miss Delilah," I sighed.
"Harry bring Delilah over here!" He yelled.
"Why?!" You could here dad yell back.
"Because I said so, now move it Harold!" Mum yelled. He shook his head. "Man," he mumbled.
"Look! It's mommy and daddy!" Dad cooed. She giggled. He walked over and she look at the screen. She kissed the screen and made crabby hands towards us.
"I'm sorry baby girl, I can't pick you up right now," I said and signed at the same time. Her eyes pooled with tears and she began crying. "Don't cry baby, your gonna make mommy cry," I said tears forming.
"Shh," dad soothed her.
"We gotta go, we're taking her out for some fresh air," mum said. I nodded.
"Bye I love you!" Jack and I said waving. The call ended and I fell back on the bed with a sigh.
"This is gonna be harder than I thought," I said.
