Darcy's p.o.v
I smile as I looked at Jack out of breathe.
"That was amazing," I panted.
"Yea," he replied. He stood up and unlocked the door. He walked back over to the hospital bed and laid down beside me.
"I bet a doctor is gonna run in here any minute; my heart monitor went crazy," I giggled.
"Oh well," he shrugged. I giggled again. The door opened as Dr. Mendes rushed in.
"Are you alright?" He asked.
"Amazing," I said. He looked around the room and a blush forms on his cheeks when he sees our scattered clothing.
"O-oh," he stuttered. "I-I'm sorry,"
"It's alright," I said. He smiled akwardly and left the room. I burst out laughing.
"Oh my god, that was priceless!" Jack laughed loudly. I laughed with him.
"We should dress," I said. He nodded. We both stood from the bed and grabbed our clothes. Jack looked at me and frowned. He walked over and poked my rib cage.
"Your ribs are sticking out of your body, that's not normal," he said. I sighed.
"I know," I said sadly. I pulled my short over my head and slipped on my pants as Jack dressed aswell. I laid back on the bed and closed my eyes.
"How are you feeling?" Dr. Mendes asked walking through the door.
"Alright," I sat up.
"I just wanted to inform you on how long you'll be staying and why your staying," he said.
"OK,"
"I want you to stay here for a month and a half and if you haven't gained the weight I want you to have gain you'll be put into a rehabilitation centre until you gained the weight you need to. You'll have a therapist come in and speak with you on a weekly basis and you will also be weighed every week. Any questions?"
"A month and a half?!" I squeaked. "What about Delilah, how can I take care of my daughter if I'm in here?!"
"Once you're healthy again you can leave, OK?" He said sternly. I groaned but nodded slowly.
"OK," I said. "Can she atleast come and stay with me, please?" I begged.
"Yes she can stay, we'll supply you with a bed for her," he said. "But if your condition gets worse you can't bring her with you to the rehab centre,"
"OK, thank you," I said. He smiled and left the room. "Can you go and get her, please?"
"Yea, of course, I love you," Jack said.
"I love you too," I said. He left the room after pecking me on the lips. I laid back on the bed and closed my eyes, slowly falling asleep.
I looked around and find myself in a grave yard as a preist is saying something about letting this soul go to heaven and stuff. But who died? I looked over and saw Jack crying while holding Delilah as she wailed loudly. I walked over and tried to hold him but go right through him.
"Jack?!" I screamed. "Jack please! Who died?!" I yelled helplessly. "Who died?!"
"You did this to us! You were too self fish and never thought how we would feel! You bitch!" Jack yelled looking me in the eye. "You had to go and kill yourself but never thought about us!"
"No Jack I'm not dead!" I screamed. I looked at the open coffin and find my dead, boney body. It looked like I had the life sucked out of me.
I shot out of the bed breathing heavily. I place my hand over my heart and try to catch ny breathe. I sat up and hugged my knees to my chest. The door opened and Jack walked in with Delilah and a bag.
"Hey," he said. I stood up and hugged him making sure not to hurt Delilah.
"Hi," I said. He chuckled and pulled away. I kissed his cheek and grabbed Delilah from him.
"Hi baby girl," I said while signing. She gurgled. I kissed her forehead. "Go sit over there on the floor for a second," I told Jack.
"OK?" He said confussed. He sat where I pointed and I set Delilah on her feet.
"Go to daddy," I said and signed. I let her go and she tried taking a step and nearly fell. I cought her and helped her back up. Jack pulled out his phone and started recording. She took a wobbled step. She continued to do so until she got to Jack and fell into his lap.
"Yay!" Jack cheered. "You did it!"
"Good job baby girl," I cooed walking over to them I sat with them and hugged them. The door opened and Dr. Mendes and some nurses walked in. They wheeled a small bed in, I'm guessing for Delilah, and pushed it beside my bed.
"I've called a friend of mine for your therapy sessions. Dr. Layla Johnson will be your therapist," Dr. Mendes said. My eyes widened.
"Layla Johnson? Wife to Regan Johnson? Mother of Kaitlyn Johnson?" I questioned.
"Yea? How'd you know?" He asked.
"She helped me when I ran from the hospital after I woke up from my coma,"
"She always was so nice," he chuckled. "It's better you know her though, you'll feel more comfortable,"
"Yea, I guess,"
"She's gonna come in for a session today and today you'll have your first weigh in," he said.
"O-oh, ummm... OK," I stuttered. I really don't want to know how much I weigh right now.
"I'll be back in an hour for your weigh in," he smiled. I nodded and they left. I gulped and rubbed my arms insecurly. Jack laid Delilah on the small bed and walked over to me. He pecked my lips and sat beside me.
"Are you OK?" He asked.
"Y-yea," I nodded.
"OK," he said. I hugged him and sighed contently. He kissed the top of my head and squeezed lightly.
"I love you," I said.
"I love you too, baby," he said.
