We’re currently walking papuntang Parking Lot ng NAIA. At malapit na akong mabingi but I’m so happy.
“Titania! San ka ba nag park talaga? Ang sakit na ng paa ko.” I looked at her.
“Tana, wag mo naman akong tawagin nang tawagin ng Titania.”
“Eh bakit ikaw? Tana ang tawag mo sa akin? Dapat Fei din ang tawag mo sakin!”
“Okay fine. Same goes with you Min.” I really can’t believe na mas matanda pa sila sakin. They don’t act their age. I stopped infront of TOP’s car.
“Huwaaaaaaw! Car mo ‘to Suzy?” Min unnie stated.
“Aniyo. I borrowed it from a friend, since all of my cars and big bikes are still in Korea.”
“Ooooh.” Sabay na sabi nung dalawa. Pinasok na naming sa loob yung gamit nila, which is konti lang. I’m guessing na they just bought enough clothes for atleast a week. I started driving. Nasa highway na kami ng maalala ko na may ipapa gawa ako kay Min unnie.
“Min unnie?” I said then looked at the mirror since she is sitting at the back of the car, and she met my eyes.
“Ne?”
“Can you contact you’re famous uncle who happens to be an engineer? Tell him na magpapatayo tayo ng Head Quarters. And I want it finished in one month, tell him na kumuha na siya ng maraming workers para matapos agad ang Head Quarters. Kung matatapos agad before one month, I’ll double the pay.”
“Ne.”
“Oo nga pala Suzy.” Tiningnan ko si Fei from the corner of my eyes.
“What?”
“You’re smoking again?!” How did she know? I looked at her again, at nakita kong kinalkal niya na yung laman ng bag ko.
“Whatever. I don’t think that I can ever get rid of that habit.”
“Well, dapat simulan mo na. Hindi maganda yan ha! Kababae mong tao naninigarilyo ka.”
“Yeah, yeah. I’ll try.” The car was going fast and I think I made a big mistake on that. I didn’t notice na nag red light na ang stop light. F*ck! And it happens na may mga pulis pa sa ilalim ng puno at kitang kita nila ang ginawa ko. F*ck this life! One police signaled me to pull over. Sh*t I realy got lucky on this one. Nung nasa may gilid na yung sasakyan, kinatok ng pulis yung bintana ng kotse ko. I lowered the window.
“Ma’am, beating the Red Light po ang ginawa niyo Ma’am.”
“I know.tsk! I’m not blind!”
“Tss.Patingin nalang po ng Lisensya niyo Ma’am.” What the? License.
