I saw a shooting star once,
I wished my life to be perfect.
But is anybody perfect was what I thought,
Sometimes people are victoroius but sometimes they're wrecked.
We cannot take out the pearl from the sea in just one dive,
Yes it is the story of my life.
For me life was perfect when you came in it,
You made me believe in myself and love.
You gave me strength to fight,
You did everything I could never think of.
I wished I could someday be your wife,
Yes it is the story of my life.
When I thought I had everything,
You took my life from me.
You left me broken with no hope,
Betrayed, sad and alone was all I was left to be.
My life became as harsh as a knife,
Yes it was the story of my life.
