Let Him Go

But here is a new one. Enjoy :) 

It was a decision,
A cold hard one. 

I couldn't bear the uncertainty,
Filled with tears, my eyes were done.
I had a choice,
I chose the wrong guy.

At the time I really thought, 

It wouldn't be hard to say goodbye.

But when I saw you later,

I couldn't help but remember my loss.
Why did I let you go?

Oh, how naive I was.
And now it's all a blur,
But I remember the pain of it all. 
Me breaking your heart,
Me trying to move on. 
How I wish the longing of my heart,

To you I could show. 
You only know you really love him,
When you shut your eyes and let him go.
