The Crash- Dan x Reader

Chapter 23

*Dan POV*

I looked over to see (Y/N) screaming out in pain clutching her head in her hands. I panicked. I didn't know what to do. I tried to help but I was freaking out too much and couldn't think straight. She started to calm down but her eyes began to close. I kneeled beside her bed and carefully whispered into her ear,

"I love you (Y/N), please... don't die."

*Phil POV*

(F/N) had come back to sit with Odessa and I awhile ago because (Y/N) was asleep and she didn't want to wake her. But Dan stayed, it was honestly adorable. When (F/N) got back she was in a fit of giggles telling us how when she asked Dan if he was coming he said "No I vow to stay here until her eyes open and I know she is safe."

We all awwwed, well I did. Odessa fake gaged again.

Shortly after we heard screaming coming from the ICU room, we just assumed that it was another patient. But boy were we wrong. After the screaming had stopped Dan slowly walked into the waiting room talking to himself, mumbling words that we couldn't understand under his breath. As he got closer the mumbled words started getting louder and louder erupting from his mouth.

"It was the demon, it is the demon, it will always be the demon." I started freaking out as Dan approached us. Then he snapped out of it, a look of puzzlement written across his face.

"Wha-what just happened." He groaned.

"That's what we were going to ask you." (F/N) whispered to him. I looked around to try and find Odessa but she was no where to be seen.

"Odessa!" I called out.

No response.

"Odessa!" I tried again.

Nothing.

We began searching like madmen, running around until I finally found her rocking back and forth in the corner of the room.

"No. No. No. No. No. No." She just kept repeating that singular word over and over again. Dan and (F/N) soon joined me kneeling next to Odessa as we watched tears slowly cascading down her cheeks and she kept shivering and shaking her head from left to right.

We couldn't seem to calm her down so we just picked her up and took her back to the flat.

Dan had tried to stay at the hospital but the nurses and doctors wouldn't let him saying that (Y/N)'s condition was unstable and was not aloud visitors until she was stable again.

So we all returned to the flat and the four of us didn't really know what to do then. Odessa was still shaking and rocking back and forth so we tried to lay her down in (Y/N)'s spare bedroom to no real avail. We just left her there not knowing what else to do.

*Dan POV*

We were going to watch an animé.

It was supposed to be fun.

It was supposed to take my mind of (Y/N).

It didn't.

I kept checking my phone.

Every few minutes.

Hoping.

Praying.

For her to text me.

Say she was okay.

And I could come see her.

And kiss her.

I just wanted to see her smile.

See that she was happy.

I wanted to see relief on her face.
