I

I watched as student after student piled into school, rushing to their best friends.
With everyone crowding the halls I barely had time to notice my own best friend.

"Maria!" I shouted as I saw the girl with the jet black hair. I've always admired her hair it's just so pretty compared to my basic brown.

"OMG Lia!" Was what she shouted before tackling me to the ground.

"Maria...can't.. Breathe" she got off me and put her hands on her hips

"Are you calling me fat!?"

"What no no oh I'm sorry did it seem that way no not at all!" I pleaded

"Geez Lia, I was kidding. You need to lighten up! It's senior year for fucks sake!"

I shook my head at my best friends choice of words. To me her cussing is a usual but to a stranger they might say it's excessive.

"I'm well aware that it's our flippin senior year!" I don't cuss. I see no use in such a vulgar language.

Maria looked down at me with fake sympathy.

"You're too pure for this shitty high school."

So I've been told. Anyway we proceed to swap schedules praying to have a class together. Now if this were a movie or even a book this would be the part where we start squealing and getting exciting over the fact that we have every class together. We had three classes together........Well a beggar can't be a chooser.

"Okay so I'll see you in.... Two hours." We both release a sad sigh

I wish I could tell you that when I turned around, I smoothly walked to class with no problems but this isn't a perfect world. Me being clumsy and unlucky, I walked straight into a hard wall, but it wasn't a wall. Nope I'd rather take my chances with a wall then this creature. Max Hunter. Unfortunately for me I was 5"3 while Max stood a whooping 5"6 meaning I had to look up to meet his stare, sorry no not a stare his glare. It was cold and hollow, I never actually knew someone could scare me by just looking at me.

"Watch it." he mumbled his blue eyes piercing into me and slowly killing a bit of my soul.

"I- I'm so sorry." God I'm pathetic.

Max didn't even reply. He just rose an eyebrow at me, gave me a signature smirk, and walked past me as if I was tumbleweed.
Since I was too busy saving my life I didn't realize that me and Max had an audience. Great. I shrugged it off and told myself forget about it over and over as I walked to my class.

I ran out to the parking lot ready to escape the second most feared prison ever. I waited for Maria at my car, like I usually do. Maria seemed to be taking longer than expected but I just brushed it off and started reading my book.
I have no clue how long I was standing there but eventually a motorcycle came and stopped right in front of me.

"This is too sad to watch, get on."

"Excuse me?" I had closed my book now and what I came faced with scared the pants off me.

"She's not coming. You've been standing here for at least fifteen minutes." Max stated so obviously. Of course I was dumbfounded and check my phone. 11:15. Lunch starts at 11. Shoot.

"Oh well thank you for telling me." I smiled

"Don't you ever stop." he groaned. I simply just raised an eyebrow at him as if telling him to continue.

"The whole kindness and polite act."

"It's not an act." I tried defending myself. Keyword here try.

"Bullshit. I bet I can get you to cuss."

Yeah right. Everyone's tried to succeed in the whole 'Let's make Lia Wild actually be Wild'    game. They don't exactly win, they usually get so fed up they quit.

"I'd like to see you try." Wait no. No I don't, why did I say that!?

"Oh really? Is the good girl challenging me?"

"What no. The complete opposite actually."

"Too late princess" and with that he was off and I stood there, trying to figure out what I had just gotten myself into.
