I hate how people take credit for important things you've done without consent.

•*•*•*•*•

When your "quality memes" have been stolen, and the culprit said that they made the meme

*GASP*

I also really hate it when a quality-looking meme turns into a crappy-looking meme.

Here's a video that explains what I mean:

CREDITS TO WEEST ON YOUTUBE
*giving credit, y'know, just to be safe*

Actual rant part:

It's fucked up, though, when someone takes your masterpiece and claims it as their own, or when someone doesn't give you the credit you deserve.

I am, for the most part, directing this rant towards actually serious situations; not that time when some dude took your idea to outline the tree leaves in green.

plagiarism, y'all.

Also, please understand that plagiarism and not getting enough credit are not the same thing.
They are similar, though.

Plagiarism is passing off the ideas of others as your own, like saying you made a popular video that someone else made.

Not getting enough credit is just lack of acknowledgement, like not giving full credit to the maker of the video.

*sigh*
