[My Light]
As the stars we're distant
Shining our lights away,
Hoping that they'll fuse
When we're miles away;
In love
When we're miles away;
Above
Trying to connect our
heart like magnets,
Despite our distance
Despite our hurting,
It feels like you're right
here presently,
Touching my heart and
protecting it
Rubbing my chest with
your love,
Cuddling me like I'm
your drug
But you're not,
And that hurts a lot,
Like a scissor being driven
through my chest
With blades that were
sharpened for years
Slowing igniting the blood
inside of it,
That's the hurt that this
distance causes me
For I can't see you
For you can't see me
So I'd rather see nothing at
all
For you're all I know
For you're all I adore,
My dangerous diamond in
the sunlight,
My ravishing rose above the
thornes
So even though our distance
causes me distress,
It doesn't bother me at all
For I can still see your light
despite our distance,
Peeking adorably at each
second
So never stop shooting your
light inside of my universe
With your rays of hope
With your rays of love
For your star is my muse
and my only weakness
For only you can truly
unleash my liveliness
And even though I miss
shining by your side
I know that one day I'll
be alright
So this distances is nothing
compared to what we share,
An endless love
As deep as the ocean.
