Chapter 3: Magic

This poem is dedicated to my lover 'T', I love you endlessly

[Magically]

Magically you appeared
in front of my blind eyes,
And touch them with
your magic wand

Then magically I could see again;

I could see that I could love again,

For I was blinded by my past love,
For I was paper boy and that love
ink my eyes up

With black, excruciating ink,
That tattooed my eyes and
blinded them

But magically you loved me
like my ex-lover never did,
After I refused to let you in
Time and time again

Magically you sang to my
deaf heart
With your love songs that
made it dance

And that's why I love you
like the clouds love the sky,

For I was broken glass,
But you still touched me

And that's why I love you like
the fire loves the breeze

For I was a burning,
But you still hugged me

So thank you for being my
water in the dry desert,
For I was hopelessly blinded
by my past relationship

And I refused to let you in
Time and time again

But you drove your sledgehammer
into my heart
And broke your way in

With you romantically persuasive
magic tricks,
For I was lost but your magic
located me

In the deepest section of my
dark comforting soul
You found me
And you coloured me with
your neon red love

And now my soul glows,
For it's reminding me that
you're nothing like my ex-lover

For you've changed me for
the good
With your magic,

So now I'm magically stuck to you

And forever I'll stay,
And forever I'll love you.
