If I could fly, my wings would

And it has me uncontrollably
moving
If I could swim, my body would
dive into you,
Even if I refused
For your love is oceans deep
And it swollowed me
Like a black hole in
the endless universe
It took me in
Like medicine to my
poisoned heart
It was the antidote
For one drop of your love
changed me
So that’s why I shine radiantly
Like the angel that you’ve
unlocked within me,
For I was a demon
Lost in the gifts of this
world
But you wiped the sand out of
my eyes
And vanquished the blindness
in my heart
If I could dance, my feet would
lead me to you,
Even if I refused
For your love is magnetic
And it's drawing me nearer
If I could sing, my voice would
bellow into your ears,
Even if I refused
For you're simply astounding,
With your oceans deep love
That I'm happily drowning in
For I'm not dying,
For I'm smiling,
Because your love saved me
So thank you with all of the blood
in my heart,
For it woke me up
For I was lost
In the comfort of the flames in
my hell,
That erupted out of my ex-lover's
mouth
So thank you with all of the air
in my lungs,
For keeping me safe
Through that storm
For in the solace of your caring
arms
I refuged
For they were healing the
wounds
All over me
And if I never found you,
Baby I would still be lost;
Lost in what I knew.
