Chapter 20: Wedding Day

This poem was written my brother Phroyo and I

[Heaven's Gift]

I saw you descending
from the sky,
With various angels
surrounding you

Glowing in heavenly
white attire,
With the love that you
blessed me with

I could feel our connection
As you made your way
down the aisle

As a ravishing angel
So purely designed

And I saw various
galaxies flaring in
your eyes

Galaxies that I haven't
even explored,

But soon you'll be mine

And I'm not sure about
a forever,
But I'm sure about
right now

For right now you make
me feel like I could surpass
the clouds

Surpass the highest towers
Surpass the furthest planets
Surpass the endless galaxies

Because you make me feel
immortal

And I know that you can
see me crying
With tears of happiness

Because you're the light
inside of my universe

You ignite it

Like fireworks inside
of my dormant soul

And now I'm seeing lights
that I've never seen before

For you're touching me
Oh, so phenominally

And I can feel our pulses
connecting, magnificently

Mind sound clichéd,
But our lives soon
intertwined

When the pastor recites
"You may kiss the bride"

And that's when I can
truly call you mine
For our vows will be
immortalised

And our love will burn
endlessly

For they were days when
I felt weak,
But you remained by my
side

Even when I was emotionally
dead

You became my life

And my nurse to my dead
emotions
With your love as the antidote

And maybe if I judged you
based on my dark past

I would have you now
I would never hear your
vows

And just maybe if I never let
your light shine through me

I would never know love
I would never know that
someone could love me

So I'm happy that God send
you down from heaven

To be my wife and to be my
soulmate

For you've change my life
for the better,

With you're unearthly love.
