at some point a stranger or perhaps a friend you once
let drift away will tell you to stop caring so much,
as if caring were a disease that needs to be cured,
or a workman's machine you can switch on and off as you
please. Don't be quick to agree. Say your heart has
no dial to turn from left to right; Say your heart did
not come with a remote control, did not even come with
an instruction manual or the number of helpline you
can call when it isn't functioning the way it should.
Tell the truth: that sometimes you are nothing more
than a skin and sweat and sinew, and sometimes you are
so much. Tell the other truth, the bigger one: that no
one - not with our breath and veins and songs that
keep us at night - was meant to temper the swirling
and shifting within, that no one was ever born to love moderately.

I'm tapping my hand to the table waiting a reply/comment from my wattpad friend. I just post a poem in my wattpad account. I pesonally made it for her, she said she and her boyfriend just broke up so I wanted to help her by means of giving her a poem. You wonder why I'm doing this to her? she makes my night hapyy (don't think of the naughty way) what I mean is that she always write a comment and vote for my poems. I remembered her first comment.

may isang notif sa wattpad ko. I hope its an update from the book that I was exicited for. but I frown when I realize its not. those frown became a smile when that notif pala is from a reader who commented in my first poem.

a simple comment everynight, we became closer. my friends are jealous na nga of my phone kasi palagi raw akong nakatingin dito.
