"Wake up," Johnnie said as I opened my eyes fully.
"What?" I asked yawning as I rubbed my eyes.
"I'm lonely," He said softly in my ear.
"And I'm tired," I said as he smiled.
"But I'm lonely!" He said.
"Come here and I'll cuddle you and you can tell me anything," I said as he drew closer.
"You are cute when you're sleepy," Johnnie said as I brought my arms around his waist.
"You are cute just in general," I said as he smiled.
"Are we considered friends or what?" He asked.
"I never really thought about it," I said honestly.
"Well, I never kissed you," He said.
"Even when I really want it," I chuckled.
"And friends don't usually cuddle like we do all the time," He said.
"So like crushing friends?" I asked.
"Yeah, I would say that," Johnnie whispered as I nodded.
"Now let your crushing friend sleep," I muttered as he smiled and giggled as I kissed his forehead.
"One more thing, why do you always kiss my forehead?" He asked.
"Well my mother did as I was a child, before she'd leave she would always kiss my forehead. She told me it was for protection from all evil. So I just naturally kiss your forehead to protect you. It's just old tall tales but why not try," I told him as he looked if he were about to cry. He hid his face in the crook of my neck.
"I'm not crying, you're crying," He whispered as I chuckled and smiled.
"Do you feel protected yet?" I asked.
"Even more after hearing the story," He said.
"Good," I yawned drifting off into sleep again.
"I'm going to get ready," he whispered as he got out of my grasp and out of the bed. I would have to say, I think these past few months I have slept in Johnnie's bed more than mine. I didn't really want to get up, I didn't have any energy left in me.
"Get up," Johnnie said.
"Fine," I said sitting up as I yawned.
"Yay," He said as he sat himself on my lap.
"What are you doing here?" I asked as he hugged me.
"To wake you up," He said.
"And what's that going to be?" I asked pulling him to there was no room in between us.
"I'm not so sure yet," Johnnie said.
"Okay," I said as he rested his forehead on mine. I hear him breathing as warm breath trickled over my skin, warming it.
"Can you promise me," He asked.
"I Kyle David Hall promise with my whole heart to love you, with your consent," I said as he nodded.
"Thank you," He said as I looked down at his lavender sweater.
"Are you wanting to push this any further," I asked looking him into the eyes. He looked back at me and nodded. He leaned in and I closed the gap, and his soft lips met mine. Butterflies flying every which way in my stomach, and he didn't pull away. He deepen the kiss leaning in so much I fell back into the bed but that didn't stop us as he slid his tongue into my mouth. His scent sweet, and his taste even sweeter, as my hands traveled to his back pocket of him jeans. He was lightly grinding on me as I used my hands to help him move smoother. I pulled out of the heated kiss and moved my lips to his neck. I left a trail of kisses down his neck as he closed his eyes letting a tiny bit of a moan. I smiled into his neck before continuing the kisses, they were just made of love.
