Chapter 5

*One Month After Tai Lung Goes to Prison*

Tao's POV:

   It has been one month since Tai Lung was sent to prison. I still am sensitive to the topic, but I know in time I will heal.

   Shifu has been out going somewhere everyday ever since the week after and I can't help but wonder where he goes.

   It hurts so much to know my brother betrayed me. It reminds me everyday about how my parents left me.

   I couldn't concentrate on training so I decided to take a walk.

*Time skip to dark*

   I end up at the Sacred Peach Tree of Heavenly Wisdom. I looked up to the sky and then look down.

   What I did not know was that some one was there watching me.

Tigress's POV:

   I was just adopted by Shifu. I couldn't be happier. When we arrived he said he wanted to meet some one and went to a building that had some wooden dummies. Shifu searched everywhere for this somebody and could not find him.

"Huh, I wonder where he could be?" said Shifu.

"Who is he Shifu?" I asked.

"He is a great kid, about two years older than you." he replied. "I guess he'll come when he comes. Why don't you go explore the palace."

"Ok." I replied.

   I walked around and saw many cool things. There was a big building full of different things like armor or weapons. While walking I ended up at the this pretty place that had a peach tree on it and there by the peach tree I saw him. Another tiger. I couldn't believe my eyes, there was another tiger and by the looks of him he looked to be two years older than me. Could this be the guy that Shifu wanted me to meet?

   I just stayed there. This tiger looked sad as he rose his head to the sky only to lower it to the ground. Then he started to sing.

"Hello darkness, my old friend

I've come to talk with you again

Because a vision softly creeping

Left its seeds while I was sleeping

And the vision that was planted in my brain

Still remains within the sound of silence

In restless dreams I walked alone

Narrow streets of cobblestone

'Neath the halo of a street lamp

I turned my collar to the cold and damp

When my eyes were stabbed

By the flash of a neon light

That split the night

And touched the sound of silence

And in the naked light I saw

Ten thousand people, maybe more

People talking without speaking

People hearing without listening

People writing songs

That voices never share

And no one dare

Disturb the sound of silence

"Fools, " said I, "you do not know

Silence like a cancer grows

Hear my words that I might teach you

Take my arms that I might reach you."

But my words like silent raindrops fell

And echoed in the wells of silence

And the people bowed and prayed

To the neon God they made

And the sign flashed out its warning

And the words that it was forming

And the sign said,

"The words of the prophets

Are written on the subway walls

And tenement halls."

And whispered in the sound of silence."

   That was such a sad song, I had tears in my eyes. This tiger must have suffered worse than I did. I took a step closer trying to not catch his attention but when I took the step a little branch snapped and the tiger heard it and turned around.

"Who are you?"
