Tao's POV:
"Tai Lung?" I ask.
"Tao?" he replied.
I was surprised to see him. Especially looking like a changed guy. I looked in his eyes and could see the same Tai Lung I knew and loved as my brother. The one that would hang out with me, get protective if he thought I was in danger, and the one who would laugh and smile at the smallest things. My brother was back.
Tigress lunged forward to attack, but I caught her.
"Tigress, no." I said.
"What? But Tao he-" she said before I interrupted.
"There is no need to attack him. He has changed." I say.
"How do you know?" She asked.
"Because, I can see it in the way he is looking at me. With guilt and sadness." I say.
I look to Tai Lung and smile.
"So Tai, it seems you have gotten yourself a better life." I say.
"Yeah, Tao, I'm sorry for betraying you. You were, are, my brother and I made you have to send me to Chorm Gom Prison. I can't imagine how that must have felt." he said.
"It is okay. I am over that now." I replied.
"So was this the pull you felt?" asked Tigress.
"No, I still feel it pulling at me." I say back to her.
"What are you talking about?" Tai asked.
"I felt this pull to journey out for there was something or someone to be found. I don't know what it is, but I am wanting to find it." I say.
Tai Lung looked to Liuah, and she nodded to him. He then looked back at me.
"Can we come with you?" he asked.
"Oh, no, I couldn't do that to your new family." I say.
"Nah, that is definitely okay. We need a little journey away from here. Plus, I wouldn't want to keep you two from catching up and making amends." Liuah replies.
I look at her and start to think if we should let them.
"Oh, PLEASE Uncle Tao?!!" said Mia.
Being called uncle Tao caught me off guard. I never thought I would be called that. I look at Mia and smile, liking the idea of being an uncle.
"Alright, you guys can come." I say.
"Yay!" yelled Mia as she got out of her mothers grip and ran towards me and hugged me.
I smile. I look at Tai and see him smiling as well.
"Well it looks like my daughter loves you." he said.
"Yep." I reply.
"Well, it seems that if we are going with you guys, we should pack. Oh, and Tigress, sorry for, well, paralyzing you and your friends." he said.
Tigress just stayed silent, but nodded. I look to her and smile.
"I know this might be a little uncomfortable since you two didn't have the best first impressions with each other, but give him a chance, we can trust him. You trust me right?" I ask.
"Of course I trust you Tao. I just don't know is all. I'll give him a chance, if you're right who knows, maybe he could come back with us to the Jade Palace." she said.
"Yep. Gah I love you." I say to her.
"I love you to." she replied.
We kissed and waited for the return of Tai, Liuah, and Mia so we could start the journey again.
"Well, we are all packed, should we go now?" asked Tai.
"Yeah, we should, to cover some distance before sun down. Let's go."
