Chapter 6

Tao's POV:

"Who are you?" I asked.

"M-My name's Tigress. I-I am new here at the Jade Palace. Shifu adopted me from the Bao Gu Orphanage." she replied.

I look at her in shock. She's an orphan to. I smiled to her.

"There should be no fear in you voice. I'm to do nothing to you. So Shifu gave you a home to?" I asked.

"Yes, he did the same with you?" she asked.

"Yes, when I was three I came to the Valley of Peace and Shifu found me on the street and brought me to the Jade Palace, my new home." I said.

"Oh, wow. You were on the streets? Where were your parents?" She asked.

"I'd whether not talk about that right now. I am guessing Shifu was looking for me? Am I right?" I ask.

"Yes." She replied.

"Then lets get going, and on the way I will give you a tour and tell you what everything is." I said.

"What is your name?" she asked.

"Tao." I replied.

With that I showed her around and got her familiar to where in the Jade Palace she was. While walking we ran into Shifu.

"Ahh, there you are Tao. I have been searching for you. And I see you have met Tigress." he said.

"I know Master Shifu. I went for a walk and ended up at the Sacred Peach Tree of Heavenly Wisdom. That is where Tigress here found me." I replied.

"Ahh, so have you introduces her to Master Ooogway yet?" he asked.

"Who?" Tigress asked.

"No not yet Master Shifu." I replied. "I think that it will have to wait until morning for it is getting late."

"That you are correct. Show Tigress to her room, would you?" he asked.

"Of course Master Shifu." I said as me and Tigress start heading for the sleeping barrack.

"Who is Master Ooogway and why do you call Shifu Master as well?" Tigress asked.

"Well, Tigress, Shifu and Ooogway are both masters in kung fu. That is what we do here. Now I am not saying you must train in kung fu to stay here, I am just saying that is what is taught here." I explained.

"Oh, that sounds cool." she replied. "What does kung fu look like?"

"I will show you tomorrow. After you meet Master Ooogway." I said.

"Okay. Good Night Tao." said Tigress.

"Good Night Tigress." I said, closing her door.
