Tao's POV:

I could not possibly be any happier in my life. I have confessed my feelings to Tigress and she returned my feelings. I cannot believe that we are finally together.

I see Shifu walk out into the court yard. I should probably tell him that Tigress and I are together now. He deserves to know.

"Hello, Master Shifu." I say.

"Ah, Tao. How are you doing?" he asked.

"Good, listen, I have something to tell you and I know how much Tigress has grown on you. I can tell you see her as your daughter so I think you have a right to know." I say.

"What is it? Is something wrong? Is Tigress hurt?" he asked.

"No, it is nothing bad. It is just that I have grown feelings for her over the past ten years and have recently confessed them to her yesterday." I say.

I see a smile creep on to Shifu.

"Well, that is good. I saw how inseparable you two were together and figured that this would be the result. Well, if you were somebody else I would tell you that you better not hurt her or else I will beat you so bad that you get sent across China. But, I have known you since you were three so I know you wouldn't dare try. I am happy for the both of you." he said.

With that he walked off. Probably to meditate.

That went better than expected. I thought he might get a little protective, but I guess I should of known his response. After Tai Lung's betrayal Shifu did spend some time with me. He watched me as I trained, and we conversed about things kung fu related. He finally became the father figure I was hoping for when I first arrived.

I should go find Tigress and see what she is up to, though knowing her she is probably training even though today is a resting day. I head to the training hall and when I enter a spiked piece wood comes flying at my face and I catch it right before it hit me in the face.

"Well, I can see you are training still, and on a resting day." I say.

"Well, I just want to keep my skills fresh." she responded.

"That doesn't mean train every day when you could be resting. Come on Tigress, your training is over for today and half of tomorrow. You do not need to keep training so hard." I say.

"Wow, you are one to speak. You trained every day and never rested when you were three to when you were six." she replied.

"That was because I was showing Shifu that even though he didn't pay attention to me that I was able to teach myself. You don't need to do anything to prove to anyone that you can do kung fu." I say.

"Now come, let's go into the village and get some fresh air."
