Chapter 20
Asano walked into his father's room, not even bothering to knock. His father was reading a paper with tiny words, his eyes snapping to Asano. He scanning over his son irritatedly. "Asano, what did I tell you about knocking?"
Instead, the orange haired boy crossed his arms, narrowing his eyes on his father. "You said you were going to help me. Are you breaking the promise?"
The man only smiled cruelly, lifting his hand gracefully. "Oh? You said you would tell me the results as soon as possible. I believe they've been out for a day or two. Aren't you breaking our promise?"
Asano gritted his teeth. "So, the results if you please." He had purposely tried to hide them from his father. The festival was booming, and so was their stall, but it wasn't enough to stop the End Class.
3-E Class had won. By 1%. 3-A Class came second, and 2-A had come in third. The elites couldn't believe their eyes when they saw the scores.
"End Class won," Asano spat, his eyes turning furious. He knew his father was competitive, but he was fed up with the yelling and lectures. This time he would fight against his father, not cower in fear.
Instead, his father laughed. "Son, I think the promise is off then. The promise did state that if you won I would help you get that blunette and give you detailed information about the students. But, if you can't fulfill that, sadly it's deal off."
"Wait," Asano jeered, hold a small smile. "We don't need scores to still get him and reveal the secrets, right? There's nothing stopping us fro-"
His father laughed. "Asano, I think you forgot. If you want my help, what's in it for me?"
"You'll finally make the End Class bow down to you." His father raised an eyebrow, challenging him to go further.
"I mean, every time we try to humiliate them, they manage to squeeze out," Asano continued. "This time, we've got them where you want them. They can't escape, and were not loosing anything. Its just information that's easily kept in one of these drawers. This time, we'll win. Guaranteed."
"And, what do you want with Nagisa Shiota?"
Asano grinned. "Lets call it rivalry. If I can take him away, which again will be easy with your help, we can have more than victory."
With a new agreement, the two shook hands.

Karasuma looked down at the file he collected. He was currently in the teachers lounge. He didn't want to go home, thinking it would be better to research here than there.
He wasn't very happy with the information, he checked about four times to make sure this was correct. Nagisa wasn't going to take the news all that well, he was sure of it.
He placed the file to the side, thinking of how he was going to deliver the information. He was uncomfortable enough to even look into his students information. Was it even his place to tell?
Karasuma was also a bit suspicious of the rest of the information. The government only gave him some. Either they knew more than they were letting on, or the files was never found. If anything, he guessed that the school records had less than the government.
He wasn't very proud of how much he found, too. He felt disappointed that he couldn't find more. In a way, he felt like he should have known where he was buried. But there was no trace of that either.
Whatever happened, it did a good job of hiding the facts. The case was dropped a few years ago, since no one could really find out what had caused his death.
Karasuma was determined to find out how Nagisa's father had passed away. He felt guilty for prying but he had to at least ask his mom. Maybe he'll ask for Nagisa's permission in a few days.

"How about this?" Karma asked as he pulled up some blue ear muffs. Nagisa blushed pink, they were soft and fuzzy. "No! It isn't even that cold yet!" Karma gave him a look. "It's December, Nagisa. It's fucking cold!"
Nagisa sighed, grabbing the ear muffs and putting them back. "I'm still not letting you buy them for me, or anything." He was being stubborn, but he had had enough of Karma spending money on him.
Karma rolled his eyes. "C'mon it's not even that much." He raised the price tag. The blunette almost fainted. "What the hell? 2410 yen for ear muffs?"
But the red head had already left, looking at other stuff. Nagisa wasn't looking, and in about 10 seconds the small boy was looking around frantically, looking for his devil of a friend. The store was pretty big, and Nagisa had never been there before.
"Karma?" Nagisa called out, walking through rows and rows of coats and mittens. "Where did you go?"
He turned around and saw a tuft of what looked to be red hair. He sighed in relief, walking over. "You need to stop running away from me," Nagisa said, turning his attention to some boots.
"Nagisa....kun?"
Nagisa looked up. Oh no. How? How could he mistake red hair for orange? Was he that blind? The latter grinned at him.
"Asano?!"
