It's been about 3 weeks since we've enrolled into HWG and it's honestly been a blast. We've managed to make a lot of new friends too. Surprisingly everyone seems to like us all and that's new for us because usually there's always those certain people who unknowingly can't stand us.

"Yo Bre Bre, who's your partner for that science project?" Siah asks me as I look up ideas for it.

"It's Jamil," I blush a little. "We had to pick names and I was first and just happened to pick his name."

"That's so cute!" Lexx yells from my window seat. We were all currently chilling in my room . Mom and Shaun went out with some friends from work who are getting married.

"Just like you and me would be real cute." Josiah says to Lexx with a smirk. She looks down to hide her blush and we all laugh. Jala and Jessica went to go pick up our food from Chic-Fil-A with Ray. Lexx practically begged us to order from there. She has an addiction to their food and I keep telling her one day she's gonna regret it.

"Siah, I'm gonna need you to not even go there. I'm not ready for a boyfriend right now. Especially since-" she paused as her phone started to ring and she looked at the ID . "It's Jacob!" She smiles widely and runs out the room to answer his call. They haven't talked the entire time we've been here and she was getting worried. I've practically talked to Darien every day.

"Who's Jacob?" Josiah asks sitting in my bed. He looked a little upset.

"He's her best friend. Well was I guess . I don't know anymore. But it seems like he's been avoiding her since we've been here. Every time she texts or calls him he doesn't answer. But he's always on social media. He's been acting funny. But Lexx is trying to give him the benefit of the doubt." I say speaking what's been on my mind for a while. Somethings been up with him and it's worrying me for her sake.

"So he's been ignoring her? Who could ignore someone like her?" Siah says barely above a whisper. I look at him and shrug my shoulders. Then my room door opens to show Ray, Jala and Jessica.

"We got food!" Jess yells. She smiles as she opens the bag in her hand and hands me my chicken sandwich and fries. Ray hands me my drink and looks around.

"Where's Lexx? She's the one who begged us to get this." He laughs a little. "The things that girl will do for Chic-Fil-A."

"Jacob called and she ran out the room. She hasn't talked to him the entire time we've been here." I say taking a sip of my sweet tea. Ray nods and finishes passing out the food as we all get settled around my room.

"You guys have really pretty rooms man. Like they depict you two so well." Jala says smiling. "My room is just pink and kinda plain."

"Alexis can hook your room up fam. So serious, she may not have decorated this room but at our old house, she decorated the hell out of our rooms." Ray says chewing his food.

"I'll definitely ask her." Jala says and I nod in agreement. I look at the clock and notice it's been about 20 minutes since Alexis left to talk to Jacob. I stand up and stretch.

"I'm gonna go let Lexx know the food is here. Though I'm sure she heard your loud ass Jess." I laugh and she rolls her eyes at me while smirking. I walk out and to Lexx's room. I knock on her door and she doesn't answer so I lightly open her door. When I do I don't see her but her bathroom door is open and the light is on. I walk over to the door and see Lexx sitting on the toilet crying. "What's wrong?" I say walking to her and hugging her.

"Jake. He-he said that he doesn't mess with me anymore. He said that-that he c-can't do this long distance friendship. Then he said he has a girlfriend. I just don't understand Bree. I just, I don't." She finished as she broke down even more. I sat on the edge of her tub and hugged her tight. I hate seeing her like this. Her and Jake have been friends since we were babies and now he just abandons her? That's low.
