You're Not The Only One Who Can Play "The Players Game"

      Lexx, Ray and I were all downstairs in the game room chilling. Ray and Lexx were playing Just Dance and they kept tying with eachother which made the game more intense. The thing is, is that we are all fantastic dancers, and we compete, which makes us very competitive. Mom and Shaun were out getting his new office set up and celebrating his new job. I still dont understand why we ALL couldn't go out to celebrate. I was sitting on the couch watching and laughing my ass off.

      "Man Lexx, stop tryna' cheat!" Ray says pushing her a little.

      "How am I cheating? Its a dance game Ray, no remotes." she said putting her hands out. I laughed.

      "Ray, dont be such a baby." I said throwing a piece of chocolate at him. He looks at me and before I know it he was on top of me tickling me. I bursted out laughing and tried to push him off of me. In the midst of all of this, the doorbell rang and Lexx headed for the steps.

      "I got it." she says jogging up the steps. I push Ray off of me to the floor and fix my shirt. I stand up and listen.

      "Wonder who's at the door." I say to Ray. He nods and we make our way up stairs, down the hall and to the front. When we get there, we see Lexx talking to some guy with dreads and hazel eyes.

      "Uhm, yeah. We just moved here. Theres no Andersons here. Sorry." she says looking up at him.

      "Oh uh, okay." the guy turns to walk away. Before Lexx can close the door he speaks again. "Oh and by the way, I'm Josiah. I live right across the street." he says pointing to his house. I walk up to the door with Ray behind me.

      "Hey there," I say awkwardly waving at him. He looks from me to Lexx and then Ray.

      "Oh, Josiah, this is my twin sister Aubree and our older brother Raquan." Lexx introduces us. Ray walks up and they do a bro hug. I shake his hand.

      "You two are twins? Fraternal or identical?"

      "Kind of both." I say. "We look a lot alike and different. But usually people can't tell that we're twins but they know we're sisters." I finish. He nods and looks at Lexx.

      "Well, yeah. So sorry but the Andersons must've went MIA because we got here and this house was set up for us." Lexx says. "But you're more than welcome to stop by anytime. We dont know anybody yet."

      "Cool, but I seem to only know 2/3 of you standing right here." Josiah says chuckling.

      "Who dont you know?" Lexx asks. I chuckle.

      "You," he says pointing to her. She giggles and Josiah smiles. This boy is gorgeous.

      "Im Alexis. Lexx or Lexxii for short." she says smiling. He nods his head and smiles.

      "Cool." He said. "Well uh, I gotta go. My mom and little sis are waiting for me. I'll talk to you guys later." he says waving and slickly winking at Lexx causing her to blush.

      "Bye." Lexx and I call at the same time. We close the door and me and Ray burst out laughing.

       "What?" Lexx asks walking to the kitchen. She knows what.

       "Mr. Josiah wants him some Lexx!" I yell out as Ray makes kissing noises. We huddle around Lexx as she hides her blush. We start to tickle her and she falls to the floor yelling in laughter and we join her.

Alexis

      Its 11 pm now and we're all chilling in the movie room watching Think Like A Man Too. Kevin Hart is funny as hell man. Ray was sleep and my head was on his covered lap with a pillow for comfort on the pullout couch. Bree was laying on my stomach with a pillow too. She was dozing off and I was on the verge. There was still no sign of or word from Mom and Shaun. They must be living it up tonight in ATL. They probably wont be back until early in the morning.

      "Hey Lexx," Bree says in a sleepy voice.

      "Yeah?" I say turning the tv down a little.

      "You think we're gonna fit in around here? Like in the community and at school?"

      "Honestly Bree, I dont know." I say messing with her straight hair. "I guess we'll just have to wait and see. But, I hope we do." I say softly.

      "Yeah, you're right." she says yawning. Then the front door opens and two voices emerge. Bree laughs. "Well they're home early." we both giggle and hear them coming up the steps.

      "Quick, act like we're sleep." I say.

      "That won't be hard for Ray." Bree snickers.

      "Shhh," I chuckle.

      "Kids?" I hear Mom say. "Kids?"

      "They aren't in their rooms." Shaun says. Bree and I keep quiet as we hear them approach the movie room door. "I think they're in here Analisa." Shaun says as we hear the door open. The click of Moms heels soon follow.

      "Aww, look at my babies. They just grow so fast. I remember when they were born, took their first step, said their first words, now look at them. They're all about to graduate and leave us soon." Mom says quietly.

      "You've raised wonderful, talented, intelligent and bright chilidren sweetheart. It only shows in what they do. The girls are graduating at 16 and on the stage with their big brother. Just imagine how he feels. He's watched them grow and now he can share an amazing part of his life with them on the same stage. All they have to do is make it one more year, and then they're free." Shaun said. I never knew Shaun saw us like that. I thought he despised us for a while, but I guess I was wrong. He's not so bad either. He cares about us and Mom. A lot.

      "I've got to take a picture." Mom says as I see the light of a flash through my eyelids. "Im going to send it to them so they can see the Smith Trio." she laughs. That's what we've called ourselves for years.

      "I'm sure they'd love that. Now lets get some sleep. We've all had a pretty long day and tomorrow we need to have a family day. So let's get going." Shaun says as he walks into the room and the tv turns off. "They'll sleep better in silence and in peace. We'll let them sleep in tomorrow. They deserve it." Then I feel two kisses on my head and hear them rotating around to Ray and Bree.

      "Goodnight my angels. I love you." our mom says before the door closes. Moments later I hear their room door close and I open my eyes to the darkness.

      "Bree?" I say quietly. No answer. This girl fell asleep on me. I giggle lightly and I softly push her head up off my lap to pull my cover up. Then I place her head back down and pull her and Rays covers over them. I get comfortable with my head on Rays lap and before I know it, I'm in my own state of sollitude and peace.
