Chapter 3

I woke up another day of hell at work. I like work but I just don't like waking up early everyday. I was too lazy so I decided to call my boss and tell him that I wanted to take the day off. He was a really chill guy that's why I liked him as a boss. I started dialing his number. It started ringing.

"Hello?"

"Hey Billy!"

"Oh hey Allison what's up?"

"Nothing much umm I wanted to know if I could take the day off."

"Well I don't know if you can because we're short on people"

"Oh I'll see you then bye." I sighed

"Bye"

I groaned as I ended the call. I stayed in bed for while and got up. I went to the bathroom and brushed my teeth. I put on my dark blue skinny jeans and my uniform for work. I decided to put my hair in a ponytail. I went running down the stairs and made myself a cup of coffee and a piece of toast. I left and locked my door to start my car. I arrived at Starbucks and shut my car door. I went inside and saw Billy.

"I'm really sorry Allison I couldn't let you take the day off someone called in sick." said Billy

"It's fine well I got to get to work"

"Ok"

I creeped behind Ian and screamed into his ear. He started screaming like a little girl.

"Jesus Allison you almost gave me a heart attack!!" he panted

"Omg did you hear yourself!?!?" I said while laughing

"Oh you better watch your back Allison Jones I can get you any minute."

"Try" I smirked

I then went to go help a customer. The day went by fast I then realized I had my lunch break. I went to go eat out and I sat in a corner all by myself. Then I decided to call my mum I haven't heard from in awhile.

"Hey mum how you been?"

"Hi honey I've been good and you?"

"Same as usual go to work"

"Oh ok so what do you need?"

"Nothing I just wanted to see how you've been."

"Do you want to come over and eat?"

"Umm sure because I wasn't sure what I was going to make"

"Ok then I'll see you then honey bye"

"Bye"

I sat there for a while thinking then a boy came up to me and say down in front of me.

"What's a pretty girl sitting here by herself?"

"Can I help you?" I asked rudely

"I just wanted to introduce myself but I can see you are a bit feisty."

"My name's Mike and yours?" He added

"My name is Allison"

"A pretty name for a beautiful girl."

"Thank you." I could feel the heat rising to my cheeks I hope he didn't notice I was blushing.

" So I wanted to now if you wanted go out sometime like tomorrow at 7:00 p.m. "

" Sure. "

"Can I have your number then?"

I took a pen and napkin and wrote down my number.

"Well I'll see you tomorrow."

"Ok bye"

I finished eating and thought that was the weirdest conversation I have had with some guy. He seemed really nice but I can't believe I was mean to the guy. Oh well I have to see tomorrow and be more nice to him. I returned back to work. I started talking to Ian about some random shit. I finished my shift and went to my mum's house. I knocked on the door. The door swung open and revealed a short woman with blonde hair with green eyes.

"Hi Allison" greeting me with a hug

"Hey mum"

"Well food is on the table go wash up"

"Okie dokie" I said

I washed my hands and went to go sit and eat. I kept taking to my mom about some things. I kinda missed talking to my mum. I then realized it was getting late so I decided to leave. I went home exhausted I stripped off my clothes then plopped myself into bed. And before I know it I was asleep.

I'm really sorry I haven't updated in a long time. I don't know if this was long enough but don't worry I'll try to update more often.
