"WHAT!?!? Did you even call the police? When did this happen? " I yelled at her
"It happened yesterday at night but it happened when I was asl- I cut her off
"Did they steal anything? Did you get hurt? Did you hear anythi- she interrupted me
"ALLISON PLEASE LET ME FINISH JESUS JUST CALM DOWN WITH YOUR QUESTIONS AND I WILL ANSWER THEM!!!" She screamed in my face I then muttered a few cuss words and let her continue
"I don't know what happened I went to bed and when I woke up this morning the door was open."
"Are you sure? Maybe you went to bed without locking the door."
"Yes I'm sure" she said sternly
"Well did you at least call the police?"
"Yes"
"What did they do?"
"They're still at the house inspecting it and they told me to leave the house also they would call me when to come back."
"Oh ok do you ne-
Ring ring
Her phone cutting me off. She stepped outside to talk whoever was calling her. Who would do this to her? Why did they do it? All of these questions were buzzing in my mind. My thoughts were interrupted by the door closing shut making me snap my head towards the door.
"Who was it?" I asked curiously
"It was the police" she sighed
"Are you going back?"
"Yes"
"Can I come?"
"That's fine"she said with a monotone voice
"Besides I need to know what had
happened" I muttered under my breath
After a few minutes we were parked outside my mum's house surrounded by police. One by one left leaving one who came and approached us.
"Hello my name is officer Robert" greeting us with a handshake and a smile
"Hello" both of us responding
"Well it turns out that someone broke inside your house."
"No shit Sherlock" I said in my head
"We couldn't find any hair, fingerprints nothing." He said with disappointment
"But you ma'am since you live by yourself I don't think it would be safe"
"I think you should stay with me for a few days or weeks just to be safe" I added
"She's right until its safe to come back."
"That's fine" after those words left her mouth a weight was lifted off my shoulders
"Well thank you for understanding and please be safe" said officer Robert leaving us in the yard alone."
"I'm going to pack a few things and then we'll head to your house"
"I'll wait for you in the car"
I sat in the car bored waiting for my mum I then felt my phone vibrate it was Mike.
