You Changed My Life

Chapter 15

Allison's POV

I heard the annoying alarm blaring on the sunny morning. I grumbled while getting off my bed which was quite in fact warm. I ran into the bathroom to take a warm shower I stripped off my pj's then entered. I took the soap and lathered my body then taking the loofah and rubbing it across. After I rinsed off the soap I hopped out of the shower feeling the cold air take over me and grabbed  towel to wrap myself in. I went over to the sink to brush my teeth and walked into my room to get changed. Right before I went to go change I checked the clock it showed 7:00 A.M. I had a lot of time so might as well just take my time. I put on my uniform like I usually do which consisted of a white shirt and jeans also my Starbuck's apron. I had a hard time deciding how to put my hair why not just keep it simple and pull it up in a ponytail. I applied a light amount mascara and eyeliner then dashed out of the room. I walked into the kitchen to get my breakfast ready. I opened my refrigerator to find the loaf of bread and container of cream cheese I took them both out and put a slice of bread in the toaster also grabbing the milk. The timer of the toaster  buzzed and out popped my toast then I took a spoonful of cream cheese and put on the bread. I reached for a cup in the cabinet to pour milk in it. The sun was peaking out of curtains so I went over the curtains and opened them to let the light pour into the room. I sat on the island to eat my breakfast in a peaceful silence. I looked at the clock which read 7:40 A.M. I finished breakfast and went to start my car. I drove onto the street with very little people out. I arrived at Starbucks and entered with confident smile. Once I'm in I see my favorite co worker.

"Ian!!" I boomed

"Allison" he mimicked excitedly. I ran over to the other side of the counter to give him a bear hug.

"Ian you're crushing me" I squeaked

"Oh I'm sorry I just missed you" his cheeks blushing 

"I missed you too Ian boredom was killing me at home but I'm kind glad I'm back"

"Well great having you back" and with that I ran over to check in and right away I worked.

It was only 10 in the morning and I think I was about to explode. We didn't really have business in the mornings probably around the afternoon usually when people get out of work. I questioned myself if I should bother Ian or not but then again why not. I slowly crept behind getting ready to attack him how I always do.

"Allison I know its you" he spoke

"What?" I stood their in disbelief

"How did you kno-" 

"Well always around this time you always scare the shit out of me" he said cutting me off

 "You need to start changing up you're schedule" adding in

"Just wait til you see" I spoke evilly 

"Whatever" he rolled his eyes

I walked away and went in front of the counter to help a customer. The hours went by and finally came my lunch break which was always my favorite time of the day. I quickly left and drove off to see any places to where I could be satisfied. I found a Panera which was only 4 blocks away from Starbucks. I parked and entered swiftly while locking the car. It was quite crowded Id expect less people well it was 12 so people were already out getting lunch. I slowly walked up to the counter to make my order and proceed to pick up my food when my name was called. Thankfully I found a seat in the very corner I didn't really like sitting in the middle of restaurants and people would stare at me while you ate which made extremely uncomfortable. It gets better it even had a window I don't know I'm just really weird probably that's why I've never made friends throughout my school years. While was eating I could see the place was getting less and less crowded. I finished my lunch and I only had 5 minutes to get back wow time did really go by fast. I got back and immediately went back to work and I thought I wasn't going to make it. After of long hours of work I left and went home. I could barely drive that's how tired I was really probably since I started working again. I arrived home unlocking the door and shutting it behind my mum came and greeted me. I responded to her and abruptly went upstairs took my quick shower and once I hit the bed I fell asleep instantly.
