"Where are we going?" Damon asked for like the hundredth time, I was starting to get annoyed. We were currently running through the woods and he would not shut up.
"You know... I didn't take you as the chatty type." I tell him turning toward him as I came to a halt. "If I didn't know better I'd say your trying to distract me."
"Oh please sweetheart your just being paranoid, but I mean its understandable..." He said tilting his head forward giving me a cold stare. "You did just kidnap the sexiest man on earth their bound to come look for me."
I laughed throwing my head back. Sexiest man? Oh please. "You really think they'll come for you? I did them a favor by taking you and may I remind you, you let me take you."
I started walking again grabbing the rope I had tied Damon's hands with and pulled it forward not giving him a chance to speak.
I heard him grunt from the force of the pull. "A little warning would be nice." I rolled my eyes of course he couldn't stay quiet. He had to have the last word.
We continued on for a couple miles only stopping when Damon would complain that he needed a little break. I knew what he was doing every time we stopped he would lean against a tree leaving his scent all over it.
Did he really think I was that stupid? "You know I heard there's going to be some heavy rains tonight." I tell him lazily as I eyed his reaction. "Just wanted to let you know." I say as I shrug my shoulders.
"Hmm...really? How strange." His voice was calm but his eyes widened a little. He knew that I knew what he was doing.
His face turned blank not revealing anything as a small smirk tugged at his lips. "You can't blame me for trying." I stared at his full pink lips which were so mesmerizing as I remembered the kiss we shared. Damon may be a asshole but he sure was attractive.
I shook my head clearing my thoughts. I couldn't go soft now not after what I'd done. My family wouldn't stop searching until they found me. I had to keep my guard up.
"We should get going, we're almost there." I tug again lurching him forward as I sped down the forest.
Running through the woods was exhilarating, the wind was hitting my face and blowing my dark hair behind me. This was one of the perks about being a vampire, being able to connect with nature on a whole new level.
I started to slow down my pace when a large white house came into view. It was an old style Victorian house with a huge front porch, the house itself was beautiful. It reminded me of the houses I had grown up in. I could hear movement inside. Good she was here.
"Hurry up." I tell Damon as we approach the front steps. I didn't have to knock as the door swung open.
I walk in carelessly handing her the rope, "Invite him in." I tell her.
An older women approaches to invite Damon in and as he walks through the threshold his eyes widen. "Katherine! What the fuck is she doing here?" He yells at me looking furious. His blue eyes on fire.
I shrug walking over to the bar and start pouring myself a drink.
"Thank you Janice your dismissed now." Katherine tells the older woman. Janice? What a plain name I thought.
"Well...well...well...Look who we have here." Katherine smirks as she walks over to Damon. "My dear precious Damon, you just can't seem to stay away."
"It's true he can't, you know he actually offered himself as hostage." I said, Damon glared daggers at me and I smiled sweetly at him.
"Hmm...really that's hard to believe." Katerina says in astonishment her eyebrows furrowed. "If I remember correctly Stefan is the nice one Damon...not so much."
