Luke was watching an episode of 'How I Met Your Mother', when his phone vibrated next to him. He had seen Cara had texted him.

Cara: Hey.

Luke: Hi.

Cara: Wyd?

Luke: Watchin' tv. Wbu?

Cara: Literally nothing, I'm so bored its ridiculous. I can't wait for basketball season to start.

Luke: Same, soccer season starts in two weeks.

Cara: Yeah, I have to wait two weeks to. At least we still have practice. Without basketball I don't have a life.

Luke: You should buy one.

Cara: I hate you.

Luke: Love you too.

Cara: What's Jace doing?

Luke: I don't know.

Cara: Then go ask him.

Luke: No, his room is ALL the way on the other side of the house!

Cara: Then how come he can hear you when you... do things?

Luke: Sadly, the walls aren't soundproof and I'm not the quietest person out there.

Cara: Ok. But I have an idea how we can find out what Jace is doing.

Luke: What?

Luke: I could of thought of that.

Cara: But you didn't. Jace, you there?

Jace: Yes.

Luke: Whatcha doin?

Jace: Playing Call of Duty.

Cara: I LOVE THAT GAME!

Jace: Cool.

Luke: Jace, are you going to play a sport this year?

Jace: I was thinking about football.

Cara: Your mom will NOT allow you to play that. And you know that.

Luke: She's right.

Jace: I know she won't let me. But she didn't want you to play soccer Luke.

Luke: I know, I had to beg her for weeks to let me play.

Jace: I'll just have to come up with a lot of reasons on why it would benefit me. Then convince Isabela to let me play.

Cara: I don't think it'd be that hard to convince Isabela.

Luke: If they allow you to play you'd have to get a sports physical. And you know what means.

Jace: What?

Cara: If you're a boy they have to check your junk.

Jace: WHAT!

Luke: Crazy right? When I got my physical it was the most awkward situation I've ever been in.

Cara: I'm sure.

Jace: Well since I need to ask Isabela about it, I'm adding her to this chat.

Isabela has been added to this chat.

Isabela: Hello?

Jace: Hey babe.

Luke: Hi.

Cara: Heyo.

Isabela: Hey guys, what are we talking about?

Jace: I was just telling the guys how I want to play football this year.

Cara: I'M A GIRL!

Luke: Not important.

Isabela: I don't know, Jace.

Jace: Please babe.

Isabela: I'll think about it. That sport is really dangerous and I don't want you to get hurt.

Jace: I understand. You know what we haven't done in a while?

Luke: What?

Cara: Yeah, what?

Jace: Thrown a party.

Isabela: True.

Luke: We should throw one soon.

Cara: How's this Friday sound?

Jace: Sounds Good.

Jace: Luke, isn't mom gonna be out of town this weekend?

Luke: Yeah, she's going to be in Melbourne.

Cara: That's great. You guys still need to ask her if it's alright.

Isabela: True.

Luke: I know, I'm sure she'll be fine with it.

Cara: Tell me what she says so I can ask my older brother to buy the alcohol.

Luke: Ok.

Cara: I gtg. Bye guys.

Luke: Bye.

Isabela: Bye.

Jace: Bye.

A/N: Ok, first of all, I know that soccer is a spring sport and that football and basketball are fall sports, but for the sake of this book they're all going to be fall sports.

Second of all, I'm considering doing daily updates for this book, because if I calculated right this book is supposed to from 50 to 80 chapters long. And maybe a sequel.

Thirdly, I'm just telling you that this party is going to play a HUGE part in this book.

Fourthly and lastly, I know this chapter is 99.9% texting, but it's just a filler. Most of the chapters up to chapter 8 are going to be fillers.
