Chapter 14

The first soccer game of the season is in 3 days. Luke, Michael, Calum, and Ashton are all pretty nervous. Luke suggested they all practice after school at his house. They have practice with the entire team tomorrow.

When Luke got home, he made sure to change into his soccer uniform. It's helps him focus, strange, I know. He also asked him mom to make some snacks for them to eat.

In all honesty he'd rather just hang out with Calum alone. But he thinks it's good if he becomes friends with Calum's friends so they'll all get along and Calum won't have to worry about choosing.

He grabbed his cleats and made his way downstairs to the garage. Once he was in the garage he walked over to the shelf that had all types of game balls. He chose the soccer ball and walked back through the house to the backyard.

He just barely finished setting up the goals when Calum, Michael, and Ashton walked through the back door.

"Hey Calum. Hey, guys." He greeted them, making Ashton and Michael give each other a knowing look.

"Hey, Luke." Calum walked over, his two friends trailing behind.

"So, what do you guys wanna do first?" Michael asked.

"Maybe we could do drills for each of our positions." Calum suggested, wanting Luke's approval. "Like we could start with Ashton. Since you're the goalie we can all do penalty kicks and see if you can block them."

"That's a great idea Cal." Luke smiled. 

"Thanks Lukey." Calum said.

Ashton walked over to the goal and stood in it. The rest of them lined up at the penalty line. Calum went first aiming for the top right corner. Ashton easily blocked it, gesturing for Michael to take a shot. The pale boy missed the goal dramatically, making them all laugh.

"Shut up!" He yelled embarrassed. "I'm a defender, I'm not usually trying to score."

"Ok, Mikey."  Luke patted his shoulder. Luke kicked the ball, making it go right into the top left corner, making it passed Ashton.

"Nice one Lukey!" Calum cheered, making Luke blush.

They did drills for each of their positions for the next half hour. They all got pretty sweaty, Calum and Luke stared at each hungrily. Calum was getting really hot so he took off his shirt as they scrimmaged. Luke almost fainted at that, instead he bit at his lip ring to keep him from doing things he really shouldn't.

Soon each of the boys were shirtless. Luke and Calum's wandered to dangerous places on each other's bodies. Michael and Ashton, of course, saw them basically eye raping each other.

"Can we take a water break?" Michael yelled.

"Sure, I'm gonna go get some snacks." Luke walked inside through the back door, sighing at the cool air hitting his skin. He saw his mom wasn't downstairs, so he checked the refrigerator to see if she put the snacks she made in there. He opened the refrigerator and saw his mom made sandwich wraps. He pulled out the small platter and grabbed four water bottles.

Once he got outside he set the food on the patio table he called over the boys who were laying on the ground in exhaustion. The three boys came running over, taking a seat at the table. 

"Thanks for the food." Calum said, grabbing one of the many wraps on the platter.

"Your welcome." 

The four boys dug in devouring all the food. They just rested for a while, before going back to practicing, wanting to be ready for the big game on Friday.

Short, I know, but it's a filler. The real drama doesn't happen for a couple more chapters. That's when the chapters will start to get longer.
