A/N: I really don't know how the game soccer works, so bare with me. But I should learn cause I plan on trying out for the team.

It's 5:00 and the bleachers are already full. The game doesn't start until 6:30. That's how popular soccer is for Berkly High. Soccer is the sport that gets this school noticed. They've been undefeated for the past three years. And they don't plan on losing.

As of right now the Berkly Bulldogs are on the field warming up before the game. It's sorta Luke entertainment for the crowd since the game doesn't start for another hour and a half.

Surprisingly the opposing team hasn't arrived yet. The Riverbank Raptors. They're second in the school district, Berkly in first. Last year, Riverbank lost one game, and it was to Berkly. But it's a new year and Riverbank wants the top spot.

The families of the boys on the team sat on the first row of the bleachers. It was only fair. Joy and Liz were sat right next to each. Each of them knew about their sons having crushes, but they didn't know that they were sitting next to their parents.

Liz was talking to Jace about football tryouts. It's the third day and he hasn't been cut, he's got a really good chance of making the team. Liz was holding Luke's water bottle, so Luke ran over to get the bottle from her.

When the blonde got to his mom he happened to see Mali out of the corner of his eye.

"Hey, Mali." He said.

"Oh hey Luke." She replied.

"So you're Luke." Joy said. Liz had tuned into this conversation now.

"That's me. You must be Mrs. Hood." Luke shook her hand.

"Call me Joy, this is my husband, David." She said with a smile.

"Nice to meet you." David said.

"Mom, these are Calum's parents." Luke told Liz. They immediately engrossed themselves in conversation about nothing in particular, holding off what they really wanted to talk about until Luke left.

Luke grabbed the water bottle from Liz's hand, getting a sip. "I'm going back mom."

As he went to the field, Joy was the first to talk.

"So, Calum has quite the crush on Luke." She laughed.

"And Luke has quite the crush on Calum. He literally talked about him all through dinner last night." Liz replied.

"Calum did the exact same thing. They should so start dating."

"I know. But they don't realize that they both like each other. And you know how this school works." Liz said knowingly.

"True, but Calum is gay just like his twin sister Ariana." Joy said.

"Really?" The blonde lady said.

"Yeah, Ariana has a girlfriend and they're out to the school. People say things about them but they don't really care. And because Calum is her brother and they think he's straight." Joy explained.

"Well Luke's bisexual, but he's not out. It might not seem like it but, he doesn't have a lot of self confidence. When someone says something mean about him, he really takes it to heart." Liz said sadly.

"Calum used to be like that, but he somehow overcame it. Although he hasn't really had a reason to come out, ya know."

"Yeah, Luke was talking about how much he'd love to date Calum, but he can't. Well he could, but secretly. Because he has a 'girlfriend'."

"I thought he was single." Joy said, confused.

"It's a lot of explaining. But I'll start from the beginning. Luke has this secret, a big one. And I can't tell you it cause it's not my secret to tell. But it makes him different. He used to get bullied for it at his old school when people found out. That's why we moved here. He vowed he'd never tell anyone about it." She stopped for air. "He and his little brother threw a party a few weeks ago. And he was drunk and he started getting friendly with this girl, who's been trying to date him ever since he moved here. During all that she found out his secret and now she's using it against him. She said she wanted popularity and since Luke is popular and stuff she's going to 'date' him until she gets enough popularity for her. But if he makes her mad in any way, she'll tell the whole school his secret."

"That's horrible!" Joy said.

"I know. There she is right there." Liz pointed to Arzaylea who was standing near the field, cheering Luke on.

"I'm sure it'll all get better."

The score was 1-0. Berkly was winning. Calum had scored that one goal in the first five minutes of the game. The crowd went nuts, the entire team dog piling on top of Calum in celebration.

Calum noticed that during that during that dog pile, Luke kissed his cheek. Making him blush. Luke knew it was risky, but it was worth it.

Berkly won the game, celebrating their victory. Liz and Joy talked throughout the whole game, and became pretty good friends. They exchanged numbers, and made plans to go out to lunch on Monday.

Luke and Calum also made plans for tomorrow. They were going to hang out at the mall, then go back to Calum's house. Thy might not know it, but tomorrow was going to be very eventful.
