Chapter 25

Calum and Luke cuddled in the blonde's large bed, sitting with their backs against the headboard. Luke was in Calum's lap, curled up with his arms around Calum's neck. The Maori boy had taken off his shirt, claiming he was hot. Luke took the opportunity to wear Calum's shirt since he was cold.

Calum was waiting for Luke to tell him his life story while Luke was mentally preparing himself. He wasn't afraid of Calum's reaction, it was the fact that three years ago, he put these memories away and didn't plan on bringing them out.

"Well, since I'm going to tell you all this, I might as well start from the beginning."

*Flashback*

Liz laid in the hospital bed, screaming in pain. She was in the process of giving birth to her first child. Andrew stood happily at her side, holding her hand and helping her with the breathing exercise.

She had been in labor for the past 6 hours, and quite frankly, she was tired of it. The pain she was in was horrible. Her contractions were a minute apart, and the pressure on her hips was killing her.

"Alright, you can push." The doctor said. Liz immediately started to push. She let out a loud scream, as did Andrew from how hard she was squeezing his hand. "I can see a head. Keep going."

In a couple of minutes Liz had successfully pushed out the child.

The doctor held the baby up for everyone to see. "It's a girl!" The small baby just cried.

As the nurse cleaned off the screaming child, Andrew and Liz shared a loving kiss.

"She's finally here." Andrew said excitedly.

"I know, I can't wait to hold her." Liz squealed.

"Here you go." The doctor said, giving Liz the now quiet baby. "She's beautiful."

Happy tears feel out of Liz's eyes. She really was gorgeous. She had the cutest face, small button nose, tiny little pink lips, short blonde baby hair, and huge baby blue eyes.

"Do you guys know what you're going to name her?"

"Faith Sage Hemmings."

*Flashback Over*

"So that's why you reacted that way at the party." Calum said, which Luke nodded. "But if you were literally just being born, how do you know all of that?"

"My mom remembers that day perfectly. Moving on."

*Flashback*

Liz and Faith sat in the car, in their way to the doctors. A nine year old Jace sat in the back seat playing his DS. Faith was very nervous about this doctor visit. She was going to find out if she was a boy or a girl.

After 10 years Liz finally decided to take her to a doctor to find out. There were a couple things that influenced Liz that something was wrong. The first thing being Faith literally says that she is a boy, anytime someone calls her a girl, her face looks a little more boy-ish, and she acts more like a boy. With the acting like a boy, Liz thought she was just a tomboy. But it was obviously something more than that.

"Calm down, Faith." Liz said, patting her knee comfortingly.

"I'm trying mom." She said. That was another thing, she had more of a manly voice.

A few minutes later they arrived at the doctors office. It was a large glass building. This was a place you were supposed to feel safe in, comfortable. But Faith didn't know how to feel about it. In all honesty, she didn't want to be here, but she knew she had to do this.
