The police quickly call an ambulence to take Ross away. "Hang in there Ross." I whisper. I then give him a kiss, before they take him inside the hospital. I wait in the waiting area. Alone. Im cold, hungry, and lonely. And im still in my wedding dress. My ripped wedding dress i wore for my wedding with Eric. But now he's gone, and Im free of him. I still wait for several hours, until i see the doctor. "Doctor!" I say while running up to him. "Hows R-ross?" He looks at me, and stays silent for a while. "Ross, is okay for now." "For n-now?" I say scared. "Yes. The bullets went straight in his legs and into his bones causing a severe reaction to his body, which may or may not leave him paralyzed for life." I gasp. "No, no, no." i say falling to the ground in tears.

I couldnt believe this. After all ive been through, i finally find Ross, and now i find out theres a possibility that he wont walk? I cry. "Ma'am. Please. We're doing everything we can." The doctor says helping me up. "Thank you. But please, help him. Please dont leave him like this." He looks at me. "We wont. We're doing everything we can." he walks away and i sit down. After hours, i didnt want to leave Ross alone. I stayed in his room to watch him. Day and night, i never left his sight. I then heard a knock on the door. "Mom , Dad." I run in their arms. "Mom, Dad." I cry. "Its okay sweetie. Your safe now. My little girl." "I missed you so much." "We did too." Mom says. "Now, lets get you something to eat and some clothes." i let go. "No. Im not leaving here. Im not leaving from Ross's sight." My dad then steps forward. "Honey, this all happened because of him. You have to stay away from him." He says. I step back. "Dad, he saved me. He saved me from death. And i love him. There's no way Im leaving from here." I say. I then walk over to Ross. "I love him."

My dad walks forward. "I respect your decision. But i dont want you to get into anymore danger because of him." I clean the tears. "I wont." I look at Ross. "As long as im with him, he'll always protect me." And it was true. Ross will always protect me. He loves me so much, that he'lll risk his own life to save me. And i would too.
