Chapter 30

My head went completely blank. "ROSS!" i scream again. I shake him. The tears fall down. I shake him again. No response. "Oh my god. No. This cant be happening." I say. I then cry even harder and eventually cry on his chest. "Ross." I whisper. "You cant be dead. Baby, you just , cant." I close my eyes and let the tears fall. My Ross. He's gone. Everything was over for me. Everything. I cry harder. My tears eventually go all over his shirt. I then hear something. It was a thump. No. A beat. I open my eyes, and lift my head up. "Ross." I whisper. I put my head onto his chest again. There goes the thump again. But it wasnt a thump. It was Ross's heart. His beating heart. He was alive. "Ross," I say again, but this time with a smile.

"Your alive baby!" I say with happiness. And thats when i realized that we had landed. We were in New York. The pilot quickly called an ambulence and they took Ross. "Everythings going to be okay baby." I whisper while stroking his cheek. I give him a quick kiss before they take him away. I wait patiently for about 2 hours for news. "Doctor." i say when i see him. "Hows Ross?" "He's fine. He just past out because he lost a lot of blood. But he's fine now. He just needs to rest." I smile. "Can i see him?" He chuckles. "Yes, yes you can." I run towards his room. When i open the door, i find Ross, just laying there, smiling when he saw me. "Valerie." He says. "Ross!" I say with so much happiness. I run to hug and kiss him. "I thought i lost you." I say still hugging him. He laughs. "Im fine beautiful. Just a bit tired." I smile and sit down. "Eric," He starts. " Is he," I look down. "Yeah. He is. He fell off the jet." I then start to cry. "Gorgeous, dont cry. Everything is fine. That jerk is gone." I look up, wiping my tears. "Im not crying because of him." I say. Ross then strokes my cheek. "Then why, baby?" "Because," I start. I look down, and then look him in the eyes. "We cant be together Ross."
