Chapter 12
I shake my head. "No, you promised me you wouldnt hurt him after i left with you." I say. I get angry and i feel the tears coming. "Eric, you promised." I said again. "Maybe i did. Maybe i didnt." He says with his smile. "Eric." I say. "What did you do to Ross?" I get up from the floor to face him. "Eric!" I scream. He laughs and sits down. "Alright then." He stops and looks at me. "I killed him." My eyes widen. I fall down on my knees. I burst into tears. I face him. "Why?" I say. "WHY!?" I scream in anger. I get up and run towards him. I push and punch him. "WHY!? WHY?! WHY?!" I cry and fall to the ground again. "I did everything. EVERYTHING you asked me to do." He kneels next to me. "Rule number one Valerie. Never trust me."
He starts to walk away. I wasnt thinking straight. I saw a knife and decided to grab it and run towards Eric. "Ah, ah, ah." He turns around and pulls out gun. I stop. "Dont ever try to pull something stupid Valerie. Ever. Now, put that knife down and go to sleep." I dropped the knife and walked back to my room. But while i passed Eric, i decided to make a move. I knocked him down using my elbow and ran straigh towards the door. "Valerie!" I heard him scream while i ran. I ran straight out of the hotel and into the streets. It was night, which made it worse. I walked and walked, not knowing where to go. I knew Eric wasnt going to leave me. He was bound to find me eventually. I walked out in the cold streets. I shouldnt have left. Where am i going to sleep? What am i going to eat? I then felt a hand cover my mouth and whomever grabbed me, dragged me into an alley. I couldnt see his or her face because they wore a hoodie. "Dont scream." Is all they said. When they let go of my mouth i scream. "Valerie, dont scream!" I stop. "H-how do you know my name?" They took their hoodie off. "R-ross?"
